I stayed at this hotel for two separate nights because I did the golden triangle tour in India. The first night I felt more appreciated as a guest and was able to rest well after Travel. 

The second day was on Republic Day and I just feel the employees working were a little bit jaded. The exception is the bell desk which held my bags for five days during my golden triangle tour. Much appreciated.￼ The first night I stayed through another app on WeChat and was very impressed with the decor and arrangement of the hotel. I was able to witness an Indian wedding with some music outside. The ATM is located in the financial building next to the hotel. 

For Republic Day, the city surrounding the hotel still had lots happening and worthy of photos. The restaurant service in the￼ Indian restaurant was a little disorganized and took a long time. The salmon was delicious, kudos to chef. The view was not as good as the first night, but I still enjoyed the room itself as the sunrise was better for photo. The room service is exceptional. ￼ 

I’m not sure if it was because it was dry day and holiday or not, but I feel there wasn’t as much enthusiasm from the employees as the first night. ￼ By room phone, an employee told me to go to the Wine  store because they were open and selling on holiday, and a random taxi took me to a scarf shop instead from their lobby taxi line. That was the only disappointment because I still had to pay the taxi to take me back to the hotel after being told that the employee who told me to go to the wine store was incorrect. This was concierge. 


Otherwise, I feel this hotel is the most affordable, considering the area of the government and embassy.￼ I was told this is a five star hotel and feel that the area is generally safe and clean compared to other parts of the city or beyond the Delhi toll gate. Even though the air quality was pretty high, I was able to get some good photos on the second visit from the room view. ￼￼ There is a really nice Japanese restaurant in there, and breakfast was good. I slept well regardless. Beautiful hotel with art displays on one of the floors.

Lalit Mumbai was a delight to stay. Have stayed at Lalit Delhi and Lalit Udaipur before and have always had great experiences with this chain of hotels. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. We extended our checkout for late flight with ease. Thank you for your hospitality

This lovely hotel has fabulous staff who attend to the minutest details. The rooms are spacious, and the Legacy rooms are beautiful and give you an ultra-luxury feel. The food is fantastic, with an excellent choice of Bengali cuisine besides Indian and Continental options.  Good pool and lovely central location
