I had a wonderful stay at SO/ Bangkok – a true definition of affordable luxury in the heart of the city.

The highlight is definitely the Lumpini Park view, which is the same stunning skyline you’d get from Dusit Thani or Ritz-Carlton, but with SO’s stylish and modern vibe. Even though the hotel has been open for 14 years, the rooms still feel fresh, new, and contemporary – really well maintained.

The infinity pool overlooking Lumpini Park is another showstopper – the panoramic view makes it one of the most memorable pools in Bangkok.

If I had to mention one small drawback, the elevator can feel a bit slow, especially during peak times. But it’s a minor detail compared to the overall experience.

Kids enjoyed the facilities. Though on last night of our stay there was a big party held in the hotel and the music was way to loud and didn’t stop until 11pm. It was not nice at all since it is a kids friendly hotel and that noice caused problem to our children’s sleep.

Luxurious with great accommodating staff! Hotel was very clean and smelled nice everywhere I went. Joise was very welcoming of us and even gave us an upgrade and made us very comfortable! Room was very clean and spacious. Gym was fantastic also.
The entrance was a bit hard to reach. 
Will come back again for sure!
