The hotel is spacious.I can tell the hotel is aiming at providing a premium service to guests. However, the carpet and wall paper are worn out. The room is a little humid though the air-con is on. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. The down side is the location, there is nothing near the hotel. It takes about 10-min walk to the nearest convenient store. If you don't mind taking longer, taking the bus is a good option. It was hard ri hire a car on a rainy day via apps.

The location of the hotel is easy to find with bus stops within 5 minutes of walk. The room is spacious with acceptable cleanliness. The staff there is friendly and helpful. The only area that is not so convenient is the check in time is 4pm making the whole afternoon is gone.

The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite a bus stop, offering easy access to public transport. I specifically chose this room for its private onsen, and the beautiful view from the window was incredibly relaxing. Guests can also opt for the hotel's outdoor public onsen, where the water is slightly hotter. My only minor suggestion would be for the in-room air conditioning to be a touch colder.

The Check Inn Tainan Yongkang boasts an excellent location, conveniently situated near the Yongkang Interchange and the Yanxing commercial district. Guests can easily walk to convenience stores and fast-food outlets, ensuring plenty of dining options.

The hotel is designed in a classical Chinese style, featuring a grand, high-ceilinged lobby adorned with crystal chandeliers and solid wood furniture, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. Guest rooms are generously sized (starting from approximately 36 square meters), offering excellent natural light. They are well-appointed with a separate wet and dry shower area, complimentary Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and other essential amenities.

The hotel is suitable for both families and business travelers, offering complimentary underground parking. The front desk staff are noted for their friendly and welcoming service. Overall, the environment is clean, comfortable, and offers excellent value for money.

However, a small number of guests have reported minor issues such as slightly low water pressure and areas needing improvement in soundproofing and cleanliness details (e.g., gaps in bathroom doors, dust on headboards).

In conclusion, it's a highly recommended quality mid-range accommodation option in Tainan.

We really liked staying here. The location was convenient at getting to the popular spots in Taipei was fast. We liked that it was quiet and out of the craziness of the big city, but still had all the convenience. We aren’t big breakfast people so not get a hotel breakfast was ok for us, but there are food spots and a supermarket nearby if you needed to buy some food. There’s also family mart and 7-11 nearby too. Cleanliness does need to be improved a little bit as we felt the bathroom shower and the hallways of the hotel (like the carpet) were quite dirty, but the bed and the actual living space of the rooms were cleaned well. The service was great too! Will definitely return.
