Great property ! 
We stayed at the Beach suite and it looked dated. Otherwise the experience was very good. 
Family friendly as well.

The cliff internet celebrity hotel is remote and inconvenient to transport. The cliff is beautiful but not practical. You can feed monkeys in the room during the day and mosquitoes at night. The restaurant is really delicious, and I also watched the dance drama invited by Uluwatu Temple. It's a good experience for one night, of course the price is far higher than the general local hotel pricing.

The first hotel I stayed in Bali, very satisfied! The path leading into the hotel is full of greenery, and the view from the hotel lobby is very open. The room is not big, but it is very comfortable to stay in. The staff is very enthusiastic. The hotel has different activities every morning and evening. There are jungle hikes, pool yoga, Tai Chi, etc. in the morning, barbecue parties and concerts in the evening. The singing band will sing songs that are more famous in the guest's nationality. There are also bicycles to ride. Breakfast is a buffet plus ordering system, with many varieties, you can order whatever you want, and the variety changes every day. You can eat a lot of breakfast and lunch. The hotel is not far from the more famous spas and restaurants in Ubud. There are monkeys in the hotel in the morning and evening, but the monkeys here are relatively friendly.

I love everythings in this hotel. The concept is back to nature. So don't expect a gym. The hotel provides bicycles. There is yoga every Monday afternoon. There is taichi every Sunday morning. The place is very quiet. The room is big. The bed is comfortable. The food is good. But there is no buffet for breakfast, they provide ala carte. But you can order all the breakfast menu. They also have afternoon tea everyday from 3pm unti 5pm. My suggestion add more variants for the room service menu, especially the main course. Other than that everythings is good. Oh one more thing, all the staff very friendly and helpfull. They services very good. Thanks Alila.

Overall, my experience was great. The view from the hotel, especially from the pool area, was fantastic, overlooking most of KL. The cleanliness of the room and amenities was excellent, and a pool and gym are also located on the 40th floor. I enjoyed the ambiance and environment of the hotel; the room was extremely spacious and offered a pleasant stay. The downsides were the less-than-ideal location and the pricey parking at RM19 per day. It's also worth noting that getting from the parking area to the room requires three separate lifts, which could be a negative factor for some. All in all, the experience was great and worth the money, and will come back for another stay.

We stayed at Alila Shanghai in two rooms and honestly had such a great time. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and in an amazing location, just a few steps from Taikoo Hui. Everything felt so well thought out: the rooms were spotless, the complimentary minibar (with soft drinks, juices, beer, nuts, tea and coffee), and there were little details everywhere that made the stay feel special.

In the evening there were complimentary cocktails and snacks at Chayan, which we really enjoyed, and the turndown service came with thoughtful extras like pillow spray, an eye mask, ear plugs, and even a tea set gift, which made us feel really cared for. We also joined the gong meditation session, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip, so calming and unique.

Breakfast was excellent, with a mix of curated à la carte dishes, pastries, and small bites being passed around.

What made the stay even more memorable was the staff. Joy took care of us from the moment we checked in until the moment we left, always with genuine warmth. Jason was super helpful with our luggage and even handled our Taobao deliveries, making sure everything went smoothly for our departure. Henry helped us with check-out and was just as kind and attentive. Honestly, every staff member we met was friendly and made us feel at home.

Overall, Alila Shanghai feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of lively Shanghai. We left feeling refreshed and already know we’ll be coming back.
