My husband and I stayed at the Courtyard Apartment at the Scotch Arms Mews on our recent visit to Brampton. Our three night stay was extremely comfortable, the Courtyard apartment is large, is literally a home from home and had everything we needed. It is perfectly located in the centre of Brampton town centre, within walking distance to the shops, cafes and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed our dining experiences at newly opened Charlie’s and Indian Restaurant Star Anise. Special mention to Dianne who was so helpful, couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even ordering our taxi to Carlisle train station on our day of departure. We would 100% book a stay at the Scotch Arms Mews for our next stay in Brampton.

Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host was very informative and helpful. Most appreciated was the gluten free lunch and breakfast items. Definitely worth staying there.

The Scotch Arms Mews was wonderful. We stayed just one night during our walk of Hadrian's Wall, and were very happy to land in such a nice place after a very long day of walking. We all (two couples) enjoyed every aspect of our stay -- the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the building itself had really interesting historic aspects (including a very old well discovered during a remodel, which is visible, covered in glass, in the floor of the public area). Breakfast was tasty and ample as was the packed lunch, and Diane was incredibly generous and helpful regarding some logistics and planning. A really lovely stay -- I highly recommend!

Our stay at the Scotch Arms Mews was amazing! We had just completed our second leg of our Hardrians Wall hike and were pretty exhausted when we arrived at the end of the day at the SAM. Dianne, the owner was there to greet us, check us in and make reservations at their restaurant, Charlie's Bistro, around the corner. Our room was just right for me and my friend and the breakfast the next day was very nice and powered us through our 3rd day of hiking. I would definitely stay at the SAM again!

Dianne was very helpful getting to the B&B in the evening and in the morning she even organized transport back to the Hadrians wall Way although all taxi companies were on vacation.
