Best stay in Bozeman - hands down! We've been coming to this local motel for years, and it never disappoints. Lisa, the owner who has lovingly run the place since it opened in 1976, is an absolute gem. She treats everyone like family, but she has a special soft spot for our daughters - she makes them feel like total VIPs every single time we visit. The girls literally cheer when we pull into the parking lot because they know they're about to see Lisa and head straight for the pool, hot tub and sauna (which are always clean and perfect). The rooms are always clean and the beds are ridiculously comfortable (we all sleep like rocks). The whole vibe is warm, welcoming and genuinely Montana. If you're staying anywhere else in Bozeman, you're honestly missing out. Lisa and her motel are the real deal - we wouldn't dream of booking anywhere else. Thank you, Lisa, for making every trip feel like coming home! Highly, highly recommend - 10 stars if I could give them!

I'll start with the positives the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are fairly clean but the first thing you see when you get to the hotel is the front desk which is completely torn apart with wires everywhere hanging from the ceiling and I understand it's not a new situation it's been like this for a while . the hotel seems to be falling apart around them the 1960 wallpaper in room is peeling off the walls.

We were late into town and needed a place to stay. We were referred to this hole and were charged 200+ for a small room with the paint falling off the wall. They clearly had a water problem and the paint was oozing down the wall. The real issue was not that it was there, but when we mentioned it to the desk they acted like it was a surprise. This means they never go in their rooms, or the cleaning staff never talks with management. In all a very dissatisfying experience.

Lewis and Clark is the best place to stay in Bozeman. Family, couples, and friends…. You can not beat the unique vibe, underground pool/spa, and quality of the rooms. While everywhere else in Bozeman is cashing in on being a Yellowstone ranch tourist trap, Lewis and Clark stays true to it Montana roots and originality!

This motel is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great for exploring downtown and the university. The rooms are extremely clean and well kept. The amenities cannot be beat, there is a great pool, steam room, and hot tub in the basement. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Trust this review and book this hidden gem.

The Lewis and Clark Motel deserves five stars just for the wonderful eucalyptus steam room, where I spent plenty of time. But it is a great place to stay for so many other reasons, as well. The owner and staff are helpful and friendly, our room was large and clean, the breakfast every morning was a treat (try the banana bread, it is great). And the location is convenient - it is a short walk to Main St. restaurants and a bit of a longer walk (a little over a mile) to Montana State. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back someday.

This place is a hidden GEM in Bozeman! I almost hate to write a review for fear of not being able to stay here when I want to! The service is impeccable. The place itself is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the entire place is ADORABLE!! You can’t believe how cute it is when you arrive! I’ve been driving past for years and had NO IDEA what we were missing. The continental breakfast and coffee/tea bar are wonderful. The afternoon cookies and fruit are wonderful. The little store has an excellent selection of beer, wine and other choices along with ice cream, cookies, candies etc. We will definitely be staying here again!!

We’ve stayed L&C several times in the past. Life became too busy and we just returned. I’ve always loved it but this time it was different. Customer service set the tone. The ambiance was even better than I remembered. The hidden treasure downstairs gave me instant peace and we literally canceled our float plans to experience the peace over and over. I’m not fond of posting reviews; constructive or appreciative. I’m taking the time to do this because this quick getaway was the break my aching heart needed.

Lovely motel with beautiful lobby and truly amazing spa/pool area! Continental breakfast was delicious with homemade banana bread and real oatmeal and many other goodies. The gift shop is very charming and has lots of unique treats and gifts. Most comfortable bed! I was a little worried about noise from the street, but the rooms are very soundproof!
