Is this a racist hotel? Due to some schedule problems, I could not arrive at the hotel very early, but I drove as fast as possible on the way from Edinburgh. Most importantly, I called the hotel twice in advance, explaining that I would arrive at 11:30 to check in, and the hotel said that he would wait for my arrival. 1. The hotel is in a very good location. It is only a 10-minute walk to the cruise pier. There are many restaurants nearby, and accommodation and meals are very convenient. The room is large, and there is a living room, which is unexpected, but the living room is next to the bed, next to the street, it is a bit noisy in the morning and evening, especially in the UK where the speed of the car is generally faster, so pay attention. Breakfast is bread, yogurt, cereal, milk, etc. prepared in advance. Some are in the refrigerator and some are in the locker. Don't expect too much.
2. If you come by car, ask the front desk for a parking card. It is 3 pounds per day and has unlimited parking. There are several places to park, which is actually very convenient. When you leave, you can drive in the parking lot first, and when you come back, just leave your keys and parking card at the front desk.

Howie and Martin were fabulous hosts, so friendly, warm and helpful. We had a fantastic, spacious suite which was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed. The location couldn't have been better, right in the middle of the town surrounded by a multitude of bars and restaurants and so close to the lake. Quite simply, if you're visiting Bowness, you'd be mad not to stay with Howie and Martin.

Absolutely beautiful suite, Felt like a home from home. A lovely warm welcome. Bed lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Buttermere Suite I. The 2st floor. We opted for the parking voucher which was great. Gorgeous stay, Thank you. We will definitely return. X

This is the loveliest place. It is beautifully decorated and so clean. In fact I don’t think I’ve been anywhere which is as spotless. It is so well thought out with everything you need. Martin and Howie are incredibly welcoming with lots of tips on restaurants etc. Just lovely…..

Outstanding accommodation. Attention to detail by the hosts Howie and Martin is obvious. Central location which is ideal. Parking is off site but in Bowness parking is extremely limited. It was a pleasure to stay there and would certainly recommend. It will be our choice when we next return
