We recently held our wedding at Lindeth Howe on 7th August, and we could not have chosen a more perfect venue. From the very first enquiry, John and the team were fantastic – friendly, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. I spoke with John several times via phone and email in the lead up to the day, and every question or request was met with kindness and efficiency. On the day itself, the staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and they took care of every little detail, which meant we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves. The grounds and hotel are absolutely stunning – beautifully kept, quirky, and full of character. Our guests were full of compliments about the location and the warm welcome they received. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable, the food was amazing, and overall the hotel offers incredible value for money given the quality of the service and surroundings. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much to John and all the team for making our day so special. We are already looking forward to returning soon and reliving some of the wonderful memories created at Lindeth Howe.

Beautiful hotel, friendly, helpful staff, close to Bowness via garden walk. Excellent breakfast, obviously quality produce. Coffee maker in room is a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved it. My husband has difficulty with walking so we had a lovely downstairs room. The staff were so welcoming and we immediately felt at home. We enjoyed the food too. There is plenty of parking near the hotel. The grounds are quite wonderful too. The hotel is very close to lake Windermere and Lake Coniston. We highly definitely recommend and hope to return. We hope to return.
