酒店像在一個公園一樣，在一河邊，河面很安靜，河對面就是樹林，很漂亮。房間可以看到河，還可以看到山上的城堡，美中不足的是房間有點小。餐廳在一樓，很法式的裝修，菜的出品也不錯。早餐豐富，坐的很舒服，安靜的用餐。

Wij hebben een gastronomisch weekend geboekt, De bediening in het restaurant was uitstekend, het personeel is er echt zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam in omgang. De kwaliteit van de keuken laat helaas te wensen over. Over het uitgebreidde ontbijt, niks dan lof 👌👌 Maar het diner s’avonds…😏 De voorgerechten bij de 3 en 5 gangen menu op vrijdag en zaterdag waren nog lekker, maar de hoofdschotel van beide menu’s waren een complete ontgoocheling… Het welness gedeelte is dringend aan renovatie toe, alles is veroudert, turks stoombad werkte niet eens en de geur was er vermuft..

The location of this hotel is great, quiet in beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is fine with lots of choice, even champagne should you want it. The hotel has no air conditioning, pay attention to that when you book in the summer. Dinner is also good but pricey, with 2 people you are easily over 100 Dollars/Euro. Only point of attention I want to give: pay attention to the bill during check out, the staff wants you to put all consumptions on the room. We don't do that because we like to keep the overview. We have been there 2 times and 2 times the invoice was not correct. The first time there was a bottle of wine on our bill and the second time 2 cokes and an ice tea while we never had anything put on the room. So if you choose to do this and you stay for several days then there are probably drinks on it that you never never had, but do you remember all the drinks you had? Otherwise it is a fine hotel.

A very nice hotel in a scenic place. Lots of hiking in the area and ruins of a castle to visit. One of the staff was not very professional but the rest were. Our three-course meal was nice and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. Spa area looked really nice but they’re was a strong smell in the hamam and sauna. Probably plumbing issues. Worth a visit

You can lose all your stress and enjoy the beautiful nature. The castle up the hill is the finishing touch that gives the vacation feeling where you’re wishing for. The suite is very clean with a nice bubble batch and a two person shower. Breakfast is from a very high standerd with a lot of diversity.

What a lovely hotel. The location is beautiful, right on the river below Bourscheid castle. The staff we very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in room 132, it doesn't look directly out onto the river but you can see the castle from your window which was nice. It is next to the day spa but you are not disturbed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the shower is a little small. The bathroom provides nice shower wash and basic toiletries. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. They provide a good selection of fresh hot & cold food for breakfast. There is a small gym and saunas in the spa area and a giant chest board outside. There is an outside terrace and comfortable seating by the river. I wish we had stayed longer. It is such a relaxing environment and you can really enjoy nature. Free parking. You can walk up to the castle if you are fit otherwise just jump in your car. A must stay

Restaurant review Terrible service from the offset. We called ahead and made a reservation, but when we arrived the waitress was not accommodating at all. She could not make a decision on anything without hassling the other waiter(Oliver). Who, himself, was running round like a headless chicken. In short: *Didn't ask if any of our food was OK *Didn't ask if we wanted more drinks (we did) *Didn't ask if we wanted dessert (we did) *Didn't ask if we wanted to pay *Didn't give any service what so ever Tbf, the food was actually nice. Some items more expensive than others - like the 8.50€ for a bottle of water. Would not recommend.

I can not believe the hotel is so closed to Lux City and I've never heard about it ;-) Now I will go there on regular basis as it is a gem ;-) Also the breakfast is succulent and the restaurant offers very tasty meals

A rejuvenating weekend by the river! We had a wonderful weekend at the Cocoon Hôtel La Rive. The room was spotless, with a large, comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom equipped with all the toiletries, and a real plus: underfloor heating. It had a magnificent view of the river. A truly relaxing experience! The buffet breakfast was just as enjoyable, very varied and generous: fresh pastries, omelets, fruit, cheese, dried fruit, and a lovely selection of breads. A special mention goes to the staff, very friendly and attentive, who helped make our stay even more enjoyable. A perfect stay to recharge your batteries in a peaceful setting. Wij hebben in 1 woord een FANTASTISCH weekend gehad in 1 van de cottage. Niets om op te merken! Schoon, netjes, welkoms gevoel, prachtige omgeving en heel erg hond vriendelijk! Lekker ijsje en een prima ontbijt waar zelfs de hond mee mocht het restaurant in.

Goede bedden, lekker ontbijt maar koffiemachine werkt niet, wij hadden het 5 gangen menu gekozen maar het duurde erg maar dan ook erg lang eer we bediend werden nochtans was dit al maanden voordien gereserveerd. Dit was een domper op onze vakantie. Geen 4 sterren waard naar onze mening.

Mooi hotel, goed gelegen, aan de rivier. Met zicht op het kadteel van Bourscheid. Uitgebreid ontbijt en uitstekende bediening bij diner, door Olivier, die een echte dierenvriend is. De maaltijden waren heel lekker en mooi geserveerd. Goede kok !!!!! Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Superbe endroit, calme, bungalow très agréable. Cuisine raffinée, une agréable surprise. Un bond en avant qui vous fait découvrir des plats dignes d'un restaurant gastronomique. Service très agréable. Un excellent séjour pour un prix encore abordable.

Sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. 33 Kilometer von Luxemburg-Airport. Wunderschöne Zimmer, sehr freundliches und mehrsprachiges Personal. Hunde sind hier willkommen und werden ebenso verwöhnt wie die Gäste. Gute Küche. Ideal für ein/zwei Tage Zwischenhalt auf der Durchreise.

Wij waren er met z’n viertjes, een lang verwacht weekend met “wild” op het menu. Het hotel, wij hadden kamer aan een riviertje, was mooi, ruim en schoon. Hele korte loopafstand tot het eigenlijke hotel. Prachtige ligging. Na aankomst een heerlijk biertje, kaasje en bitterballen. De uiterst sympathieke Pedro zorgde voor een leuke en persoonlijke bediening. Wij schakelden tussen zijn frans/engels en dat zorgde mede voor een prettige sfeer. De eerste avond stond een drie gangen menu op het programma. De menukaart beschreef een prachtig aanbod, maar dat viel dus een beetje tegen. De wijn was goed. De muziek was vreselijk. Het ontbijt is keurig verzorgd. De t****e avond stond er een vijf gangen menu op het programma en dat viel - het is niet anders - erg tegen. Los van de tegenvallende smaak, was er nauwelijks overeenkomst te vinden tussen de beschrijving van de gerechten op de menukaart en hetgeen je steeds op je bord aantrof. Jammer, geen aanrader dus. Dat wil voor alle duidelijkheid zeggen: het hotel wel, het wildmenu niet.
