We visited friends in the town and they took us here for a meal last night. WOW! The house cocktail as aperitif was amazing. Each course was a true delight. Presented beautifully, tasted delicious. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

Hidden gem
Our host were lovely, welcoming and friendly. Dinner was delicious and rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Definitely the best stay in town.

A very good hotel, location a little disappointing
Used this hotel as an overnight stop on our journey by car to Italy - despite the pictures, not the most picturesque of locations. Good outside parking within hotel, no extra cost. Friendly welcome from staff. Very nice room, unusual colour scheme and decor which we liked but which may not be to everyone's taste. Comfortable bed, room and bathroom very clean. Evening meal good, unfortunately the set menu we wanted was not available so we were a little disappointed. Very good breakfast the next morning except for the coffee which was from a machine and not as good as it should have been.

Une vraie pépite cette «commanderie de Champerey »! Dans un écrin verdoyant en plein centre ville, cet hôtel de charme n’offre que du bonheur…. Un accueil’chaleurux d’une patronne aussi dynamique que prévenante et excellente cuisinière, des chambres «bonbonnières » où tout est conçu pour procurer un vrai repos: décor agréablement coloré, literie parfaite, moquette moelleuse, espace, salle de bain au top…..tarifs très corrects. Quant au restaurant , il vaut le détour à lui seul…. Mets raffinés, ( goûtez les ravioles du Royans ou en dessert le surprenant et excelletissime riz au lait aux pralines eoses de la oateonne ou encore sa sphère au chocolat noir avec mousse de betterave…à se damner!!! Service efficace et courtois . Le petit déjeuner est de la même veine… Le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité /prix. Ce fut pour nous une superbe découverte. Nous reviendrons….!

Fantastisch, Wij gaan er zeker terugkomen. Perfect op doorreis, vlak bij de snelweg.. Herinneringswaardige ervaring. Historisch, prachtig interieur, lekker goed klaargemaakt eten en keuze uit verschillende wijnen. Bekwaam en betrokken personeel.

Nous étions uniquement au restaurant : repas du 24/12 midi passé en famille. Nous étions 13 à table et lors de la réservation, l’établissement avait gentiment accepté de nous mettre à disposition une salle privative, joliment décorée dans l’esprit de noël. Comme les fois précédentes, la qualité de l’accueil et du service était au rendez-vous et la cuisine était toujours aussi délicieuse et inventive. La ballotine de pintade farcie aux châtaignes était exquise, tout comme le dos de saumon en croûte de persil. Merci à toute l'équipe pour son professionnalisme et pour cette expérience inoubliable qui explique pourquoi nous revenons chaque année. Un must de la région.
