Basecamp Boulder

Great stay, very friendly staff!!!

We had a good one-night stay at Basecamp Boulder. The hotel offers a unique theme and a few nice amenities that made our visit pleasant. We stayed in the "Great Indoors" room, which had a fun campsite-like concept. The beds were comfortable, and it was a unique experience. We were a little disappointed that the in-room coffee packets were not stocked, but the coffee service at the reception desk worked out as an acceptable alternative. We didn't get a chance to use the common jacuzzi or the ping pong table, though they seemed like nice amenities for guests. We did appreciate the two free drink coupons we received for booking directly, and we were able to enjoy them by the firepits. One of the more memorable parts of the stay was the staff's professionalism. When I forgot my watch and charger in the room, the owners promptly called me to let me know they had found them. Their attentiveness was appreciated, especially since I hadn't even realized they were missing. Overall, our stay at Basecamp Boulder was a good one. The unique room, some useful amenities, and the helpful staff made for a fine visit.

We booked a 1 night stay at Basecamp Boulder. The hotel is well located and reasonably priced. We arrived several hours before check in time. Seeing that I was in a sling (recent shoulder surgery) John at the desk said he would text us as soon as a room was available. We spent the time exploring Boulder and were able to check in before 4 pm. The hotel is basic but they do everything right. Excellent personal service from all the staff. Happy hour with wine that was very drinkable. A game room with a climbing wall. Comfortable bed. Good hot shower with thick towels. We will definitely stay there again if we are in Boulder or at one of their hotels in Lake Tahoe. Great stay. Thank you.
