Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel
"The service staff is what made this place special. They are always smiley, willing to help and make the resort very comfortable for guests. The food is impressive especially the breakfast, high tea and the Stupa restaurant. Food presentation is beautiful, speaks a lot about the culture behind this resort. Before I came to the resort, I was so worried about mosquitoes, I was pleasantly surprised that the resort controlled the mosquitoes well, it's important because it would mean whether the guests can enjoy being outdoors, since many facilities are open air."
Sinom Borobudur Heritage Hotel
"Complete facilities, clean, swimming pool and good service"
Shankara Borobudur
"Good hotel best location I will stay here again next time"
Villa Borobudur Resort
"Staying here for one night was the best decision I've ever made! Even though it's expensive, it's totally worth it. The scenery around the hotel is unforgettable; when you open the balcony door, the world unfolds before you. It's truly picturesque, with birdsong, fragrant flowers, and the sounds of insects and geckos. While pristine, the area is well-managed and very safe. The hotel also provides a shuttle service; yesterday afternoon it took me to Borobudur, and this morning at 4 am it took me to see the sunrise. The drivers are incredibly dedicated! I felt a little bad making them get up so early, but they didn't complain at all. The hotel breakfast was fantastic. I chose coffee, cereal milk, and a local dish called Kupat Tahu. This dish was absolutely delicious and perfect for a Chinese palate. Dinner yesterday was also good (à la carte), but breakfast was definitely more amazing. All photos were taken inside the villa."
Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur
"The service was excellent. They even provided drinks upon check-in, and the staff spoke excellent English, making communication seamless. The location itself is quite remote and quiet, almost like living in a farmland at night. However, it's only a ten-minute walk to the main road, and close to Borobudur. The room was clean, but I noticed some issues with the cleanliness of the cups and cutlery during meals. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the shower water was a bit inconsistent in temperature."
Tanawana Living Borobudur
"Very good experience and also have a good service. Will back again surely for next time"
Plataran Borobudur
"Great hotel with incredible staff, good food, for us there was a problem with the bed structure - for elderly people it is difficult to lie down, difficult to get up"
Puunee Wild River Villa's Borobudur
"Came for lunch after visiting Borobudur. Great dining while watching the currents flow by. Really special dishes, perfect service and the best view I‘ve had in a while. Also offers a comfortable walk up the river and rafting for all interested."
Sarasvati Borobudur
"Very nice hotel! Very clean!"

Hotel Le Temple Borobudur
"The circular villa has a unique double-story shape. The check-in ceremony is full of sense. The service is great. The restaurant is delicious. The children love it very much. Flying the drone is amazing."
Amanjiwo
"This was one of the more satisfying hotels we stayed at during our trip. It's about a 7-minute drive from Borobudur. The room was very spacious and came with a private pool. I'd say it felt like a top-tier luxury hotel. I'd recommend it for a relaxing stay, but our itinerary was too packed to fully enjoy it."
The Amrta Borobudur
"The hotel is located in the downtown area, so even solo travelers don't have to worry. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the public areas have a sense of design. I really like it and it's definitely a good trip! Turn right and walk 200 meters out of the hotel to find supermarkets, restaurants, and snack stands! The staff is so enthusiastic. When we failed to get a taxi, she took a motorcycle to take us to catch the Borobudur sunrise tour The front desk girl Anin is beautiful and kind! It was a really good trip!"
The Nalaya Hotel & Resto
"We went for dinner from Saraswati hotel. There was hardly any choice. There was absolutely no vegetarian food. The beef was full of fat, there was no basic drink like coke. The pizza was full of cheese and bread. Overall the experience was v poor."
Gopalan Borobudur
"Such a lovely setting in the rice paddies, looking towards Mount Merapi, with the temple alongside, good local food, and wonderful staff and service. Basic and rustic but peaceful and tranquil. "
Wahid Borobudur
"Clean room, clean sheets and clean towels, and room sandals. But the hotel is lacking in charm since every inch is paved over and the brick walls are painted in a dark paint. More plants or color would be nice. The room has bare concrete floors, but the woven rugs smell moldy. The bathroom smells a little from poor plumbing. The main door and bathroom has gaps that insects can crawl through. The staff are sweet, and agreed to serve us our breakfast AFTER we visited Candi Borobudur. Lots of Food is available nearby on the main streets, this hotel is on a less busy street. It was raining so we did not use the pool. The wifi was strong in our room."
Cempaka Villa
"It's been a long time since it was built, so there are some loose parts, but if you just use it for sleeping, there won't be any problems. Wi-Fi is available in the room, and there are minimal amenities. There was hot water in the shower, it was quiet at night, and the starry sky was really beautiful. It's good that you can choose from about 4 types of breakfast and it's delicious. It is also close to Borobudur ruins. You can go there on foot. There are restaurants and India Mart around the hotel, so you won't have any problems. I think it's a good hotel for the price and the staff are all nice."
Rumah Boedi Private Residence Villa
"Our initial one-night stay at Rumah Boedi Borobudur left such an incredible impression on us that we decided to come back after moving to another hotel for one night. We even postponed our departure just to enjoy more time at this amazing place!"
Moritz Hill Borobudur Resort & Spa
"The rooms are perfect , the staff is attentive but the food and drink options are not what one would expect. (No drink available , only 2 items on the menu and very simple breakfast)"
Balkondes Kenalan
"For you lover of long travel challenge and real quiet this place highly recommend"
Khanaya Hotel Borobudur
"Bad douche , water floating over the Floor. Dirty. The beds were good and the room very big. No other guests."
Borobudur Luxury Glamping
"Below my expectations... Not match with d pics they gave."
Genthong Homestay
"I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch."
