Si denota pregio in TUTTI gli aspetti. Se i dettagli fanno la differenza, alla Monastica vale anche per tutto il resto. Accoglienza ad oggi senza paragoni, personale magnifico. Location di assoluta classe, ricercata, intima e di gusto. SPA riservata a poche presenze su prenotazione, una chicca. Trattamenti di bellezza di altissima qualità, professionalità indiscussa del personale. Zone esterne curate al pari delle interne, perfette. Piscine e zone verdi da scoprire. Piccola palestra in linea con lo stile e la filosofia della Monastica. Esperienza culinaria e signature drink: inutile descrivere, semplicemente da vivere! Se ho dimenticato qualcosa, potete immaginare che giudizio ne possa avere.

Abbiamo scoperto questo Resort per caso, seguendo la trasmissione The Mag su Italia 1. Incuriositi, abbiamo prenotato, visto che eravamo in zona Viareggio per lavoro. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, ma ci è bastato per definire magico questo posto. Il Resort è immerso nel silenzio, ristrutturazione eccellente di questo vecchio monastero, lasciando intatto il fascino storico ma aggiungendo quel tocco di modernità che ti fa sentire a tu agio. Tutto è molto curato, si vede attenzione ai dettagli (per esempio l’illuminazione dei corridoi e dei locali con impressa la M di Monastica…..si vede che tutto è personalizzato e curato). Lo staff è molto attento e gentile, me nello stesso tempo discreto e rispettoso della privacy degli ospiti. Anche il Direttore è presente e si premura di verificare che tutto sia in ordine e che gli ospiti si trovino bene. Un luogo di pace e tranquillità per riposare e rigenerarsi. Bravi continuate così, siete giovani (la struttura è aperta da un solo anno), non cambiate questo vostro DNA che vi rende speciali. Torneremo sicuramente. A presto

We are currently on our last day at La Monastica hotel in Buggiano. It’s the best hotel by far on our 3 week tour of Italy. From the moment we arrived we have been given absolutely superb service. The General manager greeted us whilst having a welcome drink which was very personal. The front desk team are always on point and at hand to deal with any requests, the bar staff (went over and above with amrequest to purchase us a certain Italian Gin) and the solid restaurant team are some of the best we’ve ever encountered. Have eaten in the restaurant every night and food and wine excellent. With Lucca and Florence 30-40 mins away it’s a great base to have in Tuscany. The hotel is a newly renovated monastery which in itself gives it a unique feel. It has amazing views for breakfast and dinner (different venues) and a great spa built into the rocks. Hubby and I had very relaxing treatments with very professional spa staff…..wish we coulda had another! In summary, if you want luxury coupled with top service and food then look no further. La Monastica is 10/10. We will be back! Thanks guys

Ho soggiornato purtroppo soltanto per una notte ma è comunque bastata per staccare la spina e rilassarmi. Il personale è davvero impeccabile sempre al servizio pronto a coccolare il cliente e ad esaudire qualsiasi richiesta, cordiale, gentili e premurosi; peccato solo per una ragazza alla reception che toccava ripetutamente la mia piccola di due mesi, forse non sa che i bimbi, soprattutto i neonati è meglio non toccarli. La struttura è tenuta benissimo, molto pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli, ho preso una junior suite arredata di buon gusto e il letto una nuvola, perfetto per una bella dormita. Per non parlare della colazione ottimi prodotti, di qualità, e complimenti al pasticcere per sfornare dolci buonissimi. La Spa, un po’ piccola ma davvero graziosa, hanno saputo creare l’atmosfera perfetta combinando musica e aromi al punto giusto donando un perfetto senso di pace. Unica nota negativa che per la mia piccola oltre ad una culla in camera non ho trovato altro, nemmeno un asciugamano a lei dedicato. Inoltre quando ho fatto presente che le piscine esterne fossero molto fredde, ho chiesto se nell’ora che ho prenotato la Spa fosse stato possibile farle fare un breve bagnetto nella piscina interna riscaldata ma mi è stato negato e non mi è stata trovata una soluzione alternativa, peccato… qualche coccola in più anche per la mia bimba e sarebbe stato tutto eccellente. Sicuramente lo consiglio e torneremo a trovarvi presto!

Resort da 5 stelle tutte meritate: per la bellezza del resort, per l'attenzione dello staff, per il silenzio, per la qualità della cucina e della zona SPA. Trattamento accogliente per i nostri cani. Avevo prenotato una junior suite, ci hanno riservato senza nessuna maggiorazione una suite con due bagni, una piscina privata e un giardino. Faccio veramente fatica a fare qualsiasi rilievo negativo.

La Monastica is something else. Starting with my favorite feature, the pools that are set right under the bell tower, which offers a peaceful spot to unwind. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the hills where we loved sipping an espresso in the morning while listening to the sound of birds. The breakfast area had stunning views of the surroundings and dinner was set inside of the church which offered such a special dinner experience. As vegetarians, we appreciated how well they catered to vegetarians, even going out of their way to make vegan pastries for us at breakfast. Highly recommend La Monastica, it’s the kind of place that gets the details right.

Absolutely gorgeous sanctuary and must-stay in Tuscany. La Monastica is one of those places that stays with you. We stayed in a clever, well-designed room with a terrace overlooking the Tuscan hills, and waking up to that view was a dream come true. The Devoti restaurant is set both inside the old church and outside with classic Tuscany views. Both were equally stunning. There were plenty of vegetarian options, and the team even prepared vegan croissants and chocolatines for us so we could fully enjoy everything Devoti had to offer. The layered pools are tucked beneath the bell tower and kept at a really comfortable temperature. The staff even arranged a picnic for us on top of the hill next to the tower, which was such a thoughtful touch. We adore when a resort offers the type of luxury where it’s not a stay, but an experience to remember. And staying in a place that used to be home to nuns? That made it all the more special.

Amazing customer service! The staff made us feel like we were at home and never let us worry about ANYTHING! We knew everyone by name and they greeted us by name everywhere. The spa was exceptional, and the restaurant deserves Michelin stars. Their local wine selection and as great as well and the restaurant staff were extremely knowledgeable. Will come back next time we are in Italy.
