Fosshótel Reykholt ★★★★
"Really lovely hotel. Everything great, only downside was the location. We hadn’t realised how far out it was from everything. Great for seeing northern lights but at least a 2 hour drive to lots of the popular sights."
Hotel Vesturland ★★★★
"The front desk staff were very friendly and the place was clean because it was newly built. There was a supermarket right in front, and it was a great value for money accommodation. The bedding was also comfortable and nice!!"
Hvítá Trucks by Ourhotels ★★★
Hótel Húsafell ★★★★
"The environment is comfortable and the breakfast is OK."
Hotel Hamar ★★★
"The hotel boasts a beautiful golf course, which is a pleasant place to stroll around after breakfast in the morning, leaving you feeling refreshed. Dinner is also delicious. Although the hotel is not in the town center, it is perfect for a vacation. The only drawback is that the bathrooms are relatively small."
The Hvítá Inn by Ourhotels ★★★
"I arrived at 7 PM that night and tried calling the staff multiple times, but no one answered. I almost didn't have a place to stay. A maintenance worker who was also a guest took pity on me and gave me an uncleaned room to sleep in."
Hestaland Guesthouse Horse Farm Stay ★★★
"Hestaland offers a week-long program called Relax & Ride at their ranch set in the beautiful mountains and plains of western Iceland. It was everything I hoped for; comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, and best of all an amazing herd of Icelandic horses to ride on the scenic trails. Plus riding lessons offered every day by the owner who is a world class rider/ instructor and horse trainer. Loved every minute!!"
Hótel Borgarnes ★★★
"Pleasant hotel located in the city centre with comfortable rooms and varied breakfast"
Hotel Varmaland ★★★★
"In order to go to Straw Hat Mountain, I had to stay here. The hotel is quite new, the rooms are not big and the bathroom is even smaller. There are several large barrels in the yard where you can soak in hot springs. I haven't eaten in the hotel, so I don't know the price/performance ratio."

Hotel Stafholt
"The location is very good."
Fossatún Sunset Cottage
"The hotel is next to a waterfall with excellent views. The services are also very good. They also have a restaurant snd the food there is also excellent."
Guesthouse Steindórsstadir, West Iceland
"My favorite homestay, there are many bathrooms, although it is public, but basically no need to wait, the room is very warm, no difference from the home, the small house is very spiritual, although a bit old but the decoration is very exquisite, very late to stay, still very intimate to retain the key and room, I also saw the super large aurora that night, Stay away from the city without any light source pollution"
Blómasetrið Homestay
"The guesthouse was decorated with great care; I really liked it."
Lækjarkot Rooms and Cottages with Kitchen
"The worst place I have slept in years. Everything is very dirty, the so-called kitchen, bathroom, bed, curtains, everything is old and very neglected. The bathroom has almost no light, and the towel is almost transparent because it is old. Not at all recommended, not even for your worst enemy. We will not be back."
Panorama mountain view, and a hot tub :)
