Very disappointing — especially on my birthday
I paid for a night in a room that looked like a repurposed stable: no proper windows, several air drafts badly covered by a blackout curtain that let in morning light, rotting wooden floors, and large spiders in the room. The shower was placed so poorly (literally above the soap holder) that it was impossible to shower without hurting myself.
I complained at reception, but was told the hotel was fully booked. Later I received an email offering a suite… for an extra €250. After complaining again, they offered by email a “prestige” room for €50 more — by then, I was already very disappointed.
I had also booked a wine tasting and spa session, which were fine but didn’t make up for the overall experience. In the end, they refused to give me an invoice, and no one even asked if I was satisfied.
The location may be beautiful, but the service and guest care were absolutely lacking. I will not return and cannot recommend it.

Absolutely incredible hotel, the staff takes great care, from the privileged location to the spa facilities, everything is wonderful.
I recommend with your eyes closed for lovers of exclusive places.
