The Space: This cozy space provides remote relaxation while still providing all the amenities your heart may desire. The Lookout Tower is 2 stories so guests must be able to use a spiral staircase or exterior wood stairs. The Main living and dining area is located upstairs while the bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities are located downstairs. The walkthrough below is as if you’re entering through the front door and exiting through the second floor sliding glass door. Downstairs Level 1 Entry: Upon entering, you will find a sitting area, spiral staircase leading to the second floor, bathroom, and bedroom door. Bathroom: Full bathroom with glass door walk in shower, single sink vanity and toilet. All bathroom amenities and towels are provided during your stay. Laundry Facilities: The laundry facilities are located in 1 of the 2 bedroom closets. There is a stackable washing machine and dryer, shoe rack, extra linens, 2 robes, iron, and vacuum. Spiral Staircase: Due to the intimate size of the Lookout Tower, the spiral staircase is steep so please take your time when going upstairs or downstairs. The upper level can also be accessed from the exterior wood stairs. Hot Tub: Soak up the views in the 3-person hot tub located on the first-floor deck. Upstairs Level 2 Living Area: The living area has a large couch, coffee table, board games, puzzles, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, wood-burning stove (wood and starters included) and wall heater. Kitchen: T full-size kitchen is complete with a mid-size fridge, oven with range, farmhouse sink, microwave, and coffee maker. Also included are dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen amenities. Deck: Walk out the sliding glass doors and enjoy the views and fire up the wood pellet grill. Outdoors: Firepit: Wood is provide for the firepit along with Adirondack chains to ensure an enjoyable experience! Additional Information: Did we mention adventure? Due to the steep driveway, you will need a 4x4 or AWD in order to reach the lookout tower. You may park at the lower driveway and hike up to the home (2 minute walk) if it looks too daunting - This may also be required in the winter months depending on the snow conditions. We promise it is all worth it once you take in the views! Especially sitting in the two-person hot tub that overlooks the valley. The city of Sandpoint is known for trains, so you'll hear the train whistle from the valley below. You'll be surprised how quickly you become accustomed to the sound but if you're not used to it you can use the "white noise" player or earplugs in the bedroom to muffle the train whistles at night. Unfortunately, this property was not designed for children. There is a tight spiral staircase inside the home and not a lot of room to play. We do allow pets. However, there will be an additional $75 pet fee and pets must be under the owner’s control at all times, due to other animals in the area. Due to the steep cliffs surrounding the home, bringing pets will be at the owner’s risk.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 2 total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Adults only.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:No events allowed.

A Great Escape What a great little escape. My husband and I snuck away from the kids and this was just what we needed. A quiet relaxing little place. I appreciate them allowing for a very impromptu early check in. House is very tastefully decorated. Everything was in great shape and clean. Thank you for letting us enjoy your place!

Perfect for 2! Great escape for a romantic or connecting time away from the hustle and bustle. If you can, bring your water toys (SUPs, floaties, etc) as there is water everywhere! Thimbleberries were also on almost all of the trails, and wife ate herself sick ;)Property had everything we needed and a little more. Hosts were great at responding and even provided recommendations for the area. Thanks again!

Unique & Comfortable for our ski adventure My wife and I stayed here for a ski trip to Schweitzer. The lookout tower was a unique experience that we truly enjoyed. The tower is just big enough to have everything the 2 of us needed, and is very cozy.Close enough to Sandpoint for groceries / dinner. Only 20 minutes from Schweitzer, and even We had a full size AWD car rental, and I would not want to have anything less. The driveway to the tower is steep, but well maintained. The roads in the neighborhood and to Schweitzer are also well maintained, but winter mountain conditions exist.
