Donna at check-in was very welcoming and got us all set for our 2 night stay. Clean, cozy room and perfect walking location for Main Street shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

We arrived late, but there were no issues getting into our room. Check-in with the front office the next morning was quick and easy. The Hemlock Inn is in impeccable condition. Our room, as well as the outdoor and common areas, was very clean and well cared for. We especially enjoyed the pavilion and the fire pit, where we had the chance to meet other travelers and share stories — a really nice touch. The location couldn’t be better. Blowing Rock is incredibly walkable and full of charm. My wife and I walked from one end of town to the other. Even though I’m not much of a shopper, I enjoyed browsing through the local stores. We already have future trips planned to this area, and we won’t hesitate to stay at the Hemlock Inn again. Highly recommend!

We loved our quaint and rustic room. It was very accommodating with a comfy bed. The inn is small, peaceful and rustic !!! Just what we wanted for our mountain getaway. The owners were so kind and hospitable ! We’re looking forward to going back and staying longer.

Very friendly staff, pretty cozy rooms, location is great! You can easily walk to all shops and restaurants. We stayed at Hemlock Inn 3 times this past year. Each time we had a different room and we were happy with each one. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location one block off Main Street. Quaint and cozy. Loved the gazebo with firepit! Thor (owner’s golden retriever) made us smile every time we passed the office and saw him curled up on the chair.

This motel is close to downtown, clean and very nice. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We had no problem walking to anywhere downtown we wanted to go. I had a small room which contained a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. They also supplied coffee, but I can’t speak to it as I don’t drink it. They are not pet friendly. Wi-fi is pretty good but I couldn’t get any photos to go through. The only negatives and they are minor is the lack of hooks in the bathroom for clothes or PJs. And the parking can be a bit of a challenge when they are full

Looks very nice on the outside, but inside a different story. Rooms are outdated, beds are hard as a rock, bathrooms have no heat. For $100 per night, I was expecting a lot nicer place and a much bigger room.

The only thing that might be a drawback for some is the lack of convenient outlets for tech devices. They were there, but a little hard to get to. This wasn't enough of a problem for me to downgrade my rating, because it was such a nice play to stay.

The only thing better than this hotel was the weather! The bed was comfortable, very clean room, flowers AMAZING. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Perfect spot to walk to town. Will visit again. Thank you!
