My wife and I stayed here for the first time this year to celebrate our anniversary. Our trip isn't even over yet but I had to leave a review! This place and the staff are FANTASTIC! They define customer service! They are thoughtful, communicative, and all around perfect. Got to meet Paxton today which was a real treat. It's literally 3-5 mins walk from downtown Blowing Rock. We will be back, good Lord willing and hope to visit some of their other properties! Well done team! Well done!!

I’ve been vacationing in Blowing Rock for 35 years so was excited to visit this new property. It did not disappoint. Communication was impeccable, providing detailed information regarding check in and unit details (I specifically needed a freezer, so Ben took a picture of it and sent it to me 😀). I was happy to have a unit in the back with a view of trees—I felt like I was in a treehouse, especially out on the balcony. The second floor bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was nicely appointed with a combination microwave/oven/air fryer—be sure to watch the video links provided for operating instructions. The location near the town’s restaurants and shops is second to none. I could easily walk to nearby restaurants to pick up lunch and dinner. I spent a day hiking up to the Moses Cone house and enjoyed a picnic lunch at the top before hiking back down to the Bass Lake parking lot, about a half mile drive from The Getaway. I will definitely return!

Stayed here for two nights on the way back home. We absolutely loved everything about this property. We have visited Blowing Rock on two previous travels down to the Carolina’s. This was by far our fav stay due to this property. The online communication with the team was efficient and continual as needed. We did have one issue with the streaming TV that was promptly attended to. As for the unit itself, just wonderful. We loved the two floor design with a balcony overlooking the street. We loved the full size kitchen AND having two bathrooms. Everything that we needed was fully stocked upon arrival. Was happy to find safe well-lit parking available each night. Upon arrival and my usual inspection, everything was found to be extremely clean and I truly appreciated that! We highly recommend staying at this property! Reach out to the staff and begin the open communication regarding your expectations of your stay and you will not be disappointed!!

First stayed at this property when it was new and first opened. Properly is as clean and fresh now as it was then.
Only suggestion is that it needs an iron and ironing board.

Phenomenal place to stay, very convenient and walkable to every thing downtown. The unit was spotless and head equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be the place we stay for our trips to blowing rock!
