Great throwback hotel - clean and comfortable room- park right in front of your room. Easy walk to downtown - quick check in and check out. Only reason not a 5 star is that the wifi was down (which they were working on) and the air conditioner quick cycled (it worked as the room was cool and comfortable on a 90 degree day). They have several great outdoor sitting area to relax - chairs outside of your room and another area in a grassy area with gas fire pits.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and professional (Vonda) and truly the stay was perfect. We will be back!

We stayed in the villa and it was wonderful. Very spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. Nice large TVs in the bedroom and living room. It looked like it has been recently updated because the appliances and TVs looked new. It has fire places in the living and bedroom but we were there in the summer and didn’t use them. Location is also very close to everything in town.

The staff were very friendly and made our stay stress free. Great instructions so no confusion.! We loved the end room with its abundance of windows and views. Fire pits were a bonus. We’ve driven by the Inn on numerous occasions and discussed how quaint it looked. After our visit, we’ll be back!

Nice little motel
The Blowing Rock Motel was very cute and in a good location. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby businesses. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit that was available.

We had a delightful stay at the Blowing Rock Inn. The room was sparklingly clean, great location and the property is very inviting. It was walking distance to cafes and coffee shops and we could tell that the owners put a lot of work into keeping the grounds and property maintained. We will be back!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Deadbolt lock would not open had to climb out the window to open the door and when I complained the next morning I was told that the night crew watched it on the security camera but no one came to help. No hot water in the shower and sharp debris from renovations left all over the room wasnt made up due to lack of staffing. at half the price it was twice as expensive as it should be. No compensation for m our troubles. Stay elsewhere this is the prototype for the Bates motel
