Absolutely fantastic location near the multiple active geysers. The included breakfast buffet at the Hotel Geysir is incredible with many choices and high quality food. This is a basic room but a good value considering alternatives and location.

The extra bed's quilt was smelly, and the front desk person was missing. It was late, and I didn't know who to contact. I contacted Ctrip immediately, and they responded very quickly and helped resolve the issue perfectly. Thank you so much! The hotel's breakfast restaurant is shared with the Geysir Hotel, but it's in a separate area, which was a bit disappointing. Dinner was delicious; I ordered lamb chops, and the service was excellent!

The night before, we received a message from the hotel that they had upgraded us to the main hotel. The hotel is very new and the room is very big. We also saw the northern lights in the room.
