We found it very easy to find and had lots of communications via email prior to the visit. Clear instructions on check-in procedure and good parking. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all you need in the room, lots of tea and coffee with extras easily available. The kitchen room is small but well stocked. So handy! My daughter broke a glass and they were so understanding. We didn’t have breakfast but we had a look and it seemed very nice. We bumped into the owner, Gareth, on leaving and he was very friendly and chatty. We will stay again! Good location!

We stayed here for one night last summer (August 2023). The place itself is interesting since it's an old Chapel converted into a bed and breakfast. The village itself has its romanticism as something that has stayed the same for years. The room is tiny and even though we were two only, Booking made us book 2 different rooms. The room was quite cold and I think it's because of the old windows. What disappointed me was the breakfast (there's no breakfast room and you have to eat it in your room: there were panini with sausage and a little bit more, however not many breakfast choices). Before booking the room, I contacted the host asking for gluten free options.. I was told that there would have been. In the morning I found out there was basically nothing I could eat.. thankfully I bought some biscuits from the market. My low score is because of this behaviour: I would have preferred the host to be sincere about this. I basically skipped breakfast and I had to find a cafe on the road.

The people who run this B & B do not have any face to face contact whatsoever. We were neither greeted or serviced by a human face. It was all done via TEXT messages. When I requested help with a TV connection issue, I had a text message "How to resolve it" Not being technical minded, I found this offensive. Please see my review of Peggyslea Farm & how the hosts there behaved. In 50 years of travelling staying at various B & B's, this was the WORST experience. I have stayed in Wales before & these hosts do no favours for the Welsh People who have all been very friendly & personally welcoming. My friends from Brazil had the breakfast of rolls from a heated container BUT I refused to have any food, only tea & coffee. If you wish to be treated as people from outer space, you will fit in with the hosts attitude. There is o mention anywhere of NO HUMAN CONTACT.

I stayed here alone before a hiking trip the next day. Really friendly text messages beforehand and a nice clean and comfy room. Fresh scones for breakfast! Winston the dog is a legend; I was feeling nervous before my hike in the morning and also missing my own dog who had had to stay at home and he was such a darling little character, he really helped! Great location convenient for the station too.

Not as described. Bedrooms extra small.only window in roof none opening.Breakfast limited and had to be eaten in your small bedroom. Won't recommend unfortunately. The place itself was clean and tidy.As you had no ventilation the room got unbearably hot and affected your sleep.

Absolutely fantastic guesthouse visited Monday and was welcomed by Yolanda the proprietor and allowed to leave luggage as I was early in the morning. Breakfast order taken and I explained I had a train booked early. 8am the breakfast was delivered by Gareth very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was huge and I can eat!! Bedroom was immaculate and comfy and warm. Shower and toilet also excellent can well recommend and looking forward to returning in April. Ray.

A minimal conversion of a chapel with no guest lounge or breakfast room. We left after one night and dumped the second night after a sleepless night due to no blackout on window and breakfast in room offer being substandard. No cooperation from owner.
