Marriott Ambassador who stayed there 2/14: - Staff less than helpful - Market is bare - no luggage carts available - room was unclean (see photo of big dead roach) - hotel room contained about half of the towels I would have expected (see photo) - No HBO - Large convention tax - high parking fee for insecure outdoor parking - waited for 10 minutes to check in at 6:30 p

I am a Marriott Rewards member. This hotel is nearly $400 per night. Although the two bedroom hotel room is spacious. I was a bit taken back regarding the restroom. I noticed when taking a bath the deplorable condition of the toilet. There appeared to be bowel movement stuck to the toilet upper base area of the toilet. I was extremely tired from travel. The front desk representative were notified. The price is not worthy of the price. Totally not satisfied and disappointed. Your organization will have to do better. This is unsanitary.

When I arrived at this location (20th Street South-UAB area), Kristie the front desk clerk greeted me with kindness and professionalism. I had quite a few questions to ask her on several occasions and each time, my questions were answered with the full attention to make sure I was satisfied. The room was very clean and I slept peacefully without any unnecessary loud guests. The continental breakfast that was included in the overall price was quite excellent without having any complaints coming from me. I'm hoping to stay at this location next time I travel to Birmingham. It's people like Kristie and the overall positive experience that I enjoyed are reasons why I have no problem choosing this location again. Thank you again Kristie for helping to add a very pleasant experience during my visit.

The staff made my stay feel like home. The breakfast staff were terrific and KeKe at the front desk was especially warm and caring as I was in town to see a dying family member. Hotels are often the same. People make the difference.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay in downtown Birmingham was absolutely marvelous! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the hospitality was beyond amazing. The rooms were spotless with a refreshing, clean smell that made our group feel right at home. The breakfast was gorgeous — fresh, hot, and delicious every morning. The staff made us feel like family, always smiling and ready to help. They handle all the reservations with professionalism and friendly A special thank you to Ms. Watts and Sharnay for their outstanding professionalism and care.
