Our family stayed recently after a trip to Michigan Adventures and had a very nice time. We always love the atmosphere of the Country Inn and Suites. The room was clean, the pool was enjoyable, and the breakfast was very good. We did miss having a hot tub, but it was still a very nice stay.

A group of seven rented rooms here so we could ride the nearby White Pine Trail. The check in went smoothly and the desk clerk was welcoming. We had a third floor room on the side away from the main parking lot so it was quiet. The room was 2 queens. Typical fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker. A/C unit on window wall with controls on the unit. The bathroom had a large counter with soaps and shampoos on the wall of the shower. The shower was ok, not great drainage. We did lose water the second day because of a pipe leak, but it was fixed within an hour so we were ok with that. There was a pool, but no hot tub (sign said pool & spa?). We like to play cards at night in the breakfast area and noticed the lack of staff across from the area where the check-in desk was. People were asking us where the staff was. It seems there was training going on, so hopefully they will have more staff in the future. The breakfast was typical hotel food. We would stay here again, but only for one night (we were there 2 nights).

They took extra steps to make sure our room was free from allergens due to my severe allergies. And they kept checking on us to see if we needed anything during our stay.

Best hotel in the west side of the state Katrina is an absolute amazing manager. She is accommodating to specific needs and makes sure the guests are comfortable and well taken care off. This Hotel offers great amenities and is conveniently located to local restaurants and attractions.

We could not use the elevator (out of order) so our family upstairs, who had a suite, had to come downstairs into our small room. It was a terrible stay. Staff was always hospitable and very apologetic.
