"The guesthouse is a seven-minute walk from the station, but it's across the railway tracks, on the opposite side of the main part of Biei. It has two buildings, and I stayed in the main one. The room has a bed, a table, a chair, and hangers. There's an extra daily charge for air conditioning, and towels are also subject to a fee. On the first floor, there are two showers, one toilet, and two sinks. You need to take off your shoes when you enter. Showering is available from 6 to 8 AM and from 4 to 10 PM. The breakfast is delicious and Japanese-style. Dinner can be ordered two days in advance. The staff is very friendly; they'll help you with everything and explain it all. The guesthouse has a cozy, home-like atmosphere. I recommend it for its value for money, both for solo travelers and couples."

I found out on the day of check-out that they seem to live in the same building. If any guests need to contact the landlord, I recommend knocking on the door with the name written on it to speak directly."
