I found out on the day of check-out that they seem to live in the same building. If any guests need to contact the landlord, I recommend knocking on the door with the name written on it to speak directly."

"Love the services provided like free shuttle bus to blue pond, to Biei & Asahikawa station. Love the Onsen so much with few minutes walking to Shirage waterfall where you have luxury to take all time pictures without crowds. Please book with breakfast and dinner as no restaurant nearby. We will definitely recommend to people to such unique experiences ❤️❤️"

"This is a bit aged hotel but I just like it's nostalgia feel of the building, it's layout and very quiet environment make it feel so relaxing for holiday stay. Hotel serve a simple breakfast and free parking beside it, I guess due to the number of traveller and also hotel stuff hence hotel main door will be locked mid night but that bo problem to us at all as nothing much to do really surrounding the area at night. All good and I will consider come back again if got chance in future."

"I really liked the wild, free-spirited feel. The hot spring town isn't so much close as it is inside the hot spring town (lol). It's great that you can walk to your favorite hot spring even if you've been drinking. What's more, the quality of the spring water in this area is amazing! There are plenty of delicious local ingredients and products at supermarkets and roadside stations, so in a way you can enjoy a luxurious meal to your heart's content. This time we went in winter, so after the sauna we jumped into the deep snow behind the building! It was also great that tourist attractions like the Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls are so close by. Next time, I'd like to bring my pet with me in the summer."

"The guesthouse is about a 10-minute walk from the JR station. I stayed for two nights. The room had a bed, desk, and wardrobe. Other communal areas were shared. Although everyone tried to be quiet and respectful, the sounds of the door opening and closing, slippers and footsteps, and the snoring of the neighbors were quite disturbing at night."

"This is a little gem in Biei. It gave me cute little cozy wooden hut in the snow kind of vibe. Iooking out from the dining area and our room, the view was fantastic and breathtaking. Few things to highlight 1. Affordable cost. 2. Quite and peaceful space where you can sink in and enjoy at your own pace 3. Beautiful snowy farm view 4. Clean and spacious room 5. Polite and thoughtful staffs who can communicate in Mandarin is a plus point 6. Complimentary breakfast made by the chef was yummy. Thanks to the chef who also specially prepared a vegan set meal for my mother 7. Coffee beans, coffee grinder and tools for drip coffee making is prepared in the room for guests 8. Spacious parking space However, for old people who are weak and unfit to carry heavy luggages up and down the stairs might suffer a little as the hotel doesn't have a lift access to the bedrooms on the second floor.. The hotel bed is not as comfortable as other hotels in Japan. Overall, I love my stay in this hotel and would be glad to revisit this place."

"This seems more like an airbnb that hotel but everything was great! Fully functional apartment, with clean toilets and kitchen! Space is great for a family too! There is a convenience store just a short walk away. Just one down side, if there’s someone staying above you (could be from other host), it gets noisy when they walk around. You can hear all the footsteps. Plus point, no need to carry luggages up and stairs! Oh ya, the entrance is on the side of the house."
