Regret not a good experience at all! My husband is disabled, had a stroke, so needed a disabled room and, more importantly, a lift. First day of arriving, the lift broke down, stranding my husband in his room TOTALLY. We were due to meet friends for dinner in Richebourg, 30 minutes away and the engineer did not arrive in time for him to get out. He insisted I leave him behind but it was not ideal. The bed was too low for disabled people and he struggled to get up from it. The bathroom floor was slippery when wet and he fell and again, struggled to get back up. Not suitable for disabled I’m afraid.

Staff are great. IBIS are efficient and practical and redoubtably unglamorous.

Very clean, smart hotel, no negative comments whatsoever. The room, furnishings, linen etc., were just as they should have been and the breakfast was really good. On arrival the member of the team who checked us in was most helpful and professional. The hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the station where if you need it, there is an ATM machine. One minor observation is that there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room however hot water, coffee, cups etc., are available 24/7 in the cafe area on the ground floor. Good parking, a good nights sleep and really good value for money. We would stay again.

My son (24) and I (60s) each had our own room. We had reserved rooms in Lille which turned out to be quite a big city. We planned to visit Dunkirk and the Somme battlefields and Bethune was the perfect location. The rooms were clean, new, with AC. Very good breakfast and dinner options on the main floor. Parking available right on site. Grocery and other stores nearby. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would feel safe here as a single. No coffee in the room but easy to get on the main floor. Would stay here again!

Perfect for overnight stay in Bethune. Lovely room with excellent shower, secure parking on site and delicious and plentiful breakfast. All staff were attentive and helpful. Can’t ask for much more!

We got there on Wednesday to stay over night. On Wednesday they have an offer for ,,steak, salad and fries,,. The steak is mince beef, something like burger meat, extremely low quality, fries were not freshcooked, only the salad was great. Parking overnight 10€. Clean room, modern simplistic design.
