Rooms haven’t been updated in at least 20 years. They are old. Carpet is nasty and smells like mildew and stale cigarettes, furniture needs replaced and updated. Tile floor is old and dirty. The bathroom had showers doors from 1989 that were cloudy and wouldn’t slide and the grout was mildewed. The light fixtures in the bathroom were missing covers. The were water stains on the ceiling in the main bedroom. They even showed us 3 other rooms and all were the same. This hotel was one of the higher rated hotels in that area. The price with taxes was almost $400 for two nights. We were there for a wedding. I have stayed in nicer places for less money. My husband and I ended up going to a different place with a lower rating for less money and it was a 100% improvement from this place. Save your money and go somewhere else. I was told that the place had been renovated the previous year. That was a joke. The only area in the place that looked updated was the reservation area and the dining area. Good luck. I will say however, that the staff were fabulous. And we were refunded.

It’s a little upsetting to have to write this review. I had been to this property 2-3 times for the indoor water slide and pool area over the past 10 years but hadn’t been in 4-5 years until my stay between the 16th-18th of July. I planned on bringing my 2 kids, 4 & 6 year olds for a day of fun and heading back home the next day. On the website it stated that the pool area was closed through

This hotel was clean, the people were nice, and the pool with the water slides made it even better. Go eat at the Mexican restaurant across from the hotel!

I have tried to like this hotel as it is quiet, clean, and in a good location for me when traveling on business. But time to find another place. Clean, but carpet and some furniture is a bit dated in places. Annoyed that the shower dripped all night. And not sure what is up with the sheet. On my king bed the sheet was stretched to the max and struggled to cover just the top edge of the mattress. Needless to say, the first time you roll over the sheet pops off of the corners and you just have a loose sheet under you all night. But the biggest thing was check in. I stay at Hilton properties all the time and enjoy checking in online, having the digital key on my phone, and being able to go straight to my room without having to deal with the front desk. Not here. Kept getting a message that online check in was down and needed to stop at the front desk. I know that wasn’t a Hilton issue as I had already checked in online for another hotel for tomorrow. Then once I got to front desk I had to present my ID and card for payment even though all of that is in the system. Have seen a couple other hotels do this and I cross them off of the list of places I will stay. This property now goes on that list.

Convenient Respite

Staff changed our room from king to a double bed. The room was filthy. I spoke with management the next morning. They promised to come in and clean while we were out for the day. When we arrived back our room was in the same condition as we left it. Beds not made. Nothing. This is honestly the worst Hilton property I’ve ever seen in my 40 plus years on this planet. Just terrible.
