Hotel Amano Grand Central Reviews

Hotel is at the same building with ibis and another hotel. The room we booked is comfort twin. Spacious one but the two beds is transformed from a double bed. After transformation, the two beds are close to each other with only 5 inches at the middle. And mattress falls at the long side if you try to move the beds a bit further away from each other. Called room service to help but not much can be done. It is either falling at the side or being close.

This is a really nice hotel. It is in a great location, across the street from the central railway station. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Berlin. There are two restaurants beside the hotel plus you have all the shops in the station. The room in the hotel is very stylish, you will love it 😀.

The hotel is very convinient located about 5 minutes walking from the central main train station in Berlin. Follow the signs to exit "Europaplatz". You can already see a large square building with 3 hotel names on it, one is the Amano Grand hotel. So cross the "Invalidenstrasse" at the right side traffic light (straight from the exit of the train station) turn right, and the hotel entrance is on the right side of that building, from the "Heidestraße". You will be greated by friendly staff with gas check in services. The room is comfortable and clean. We had one facing the train station but it still was quite. It appears there is a fancy roof top bar on the top of the (not very high, if I remember it correctly 8 floor) building. But going to our room we shared the elevator with some people being quite excited to get into that bar. 😊 As we had to catch a train very early the next morning, we had no time to check it out.

Location is fabulous, just a few metres away from the underground S5 station which also connects with the Hbf. Hotel is pretty. Great sleep cos pillows are comfy ! But ! The room is pretty but not functional. The bottles holding soap - pumps dont work. Not just in my room but in 2 other rooms we booked. The water basin area - when you wash your face, it runs over. The force of water from the tap is so big, need to be very careful. Design fault. My sister had a lower category room on the 1st floor, its pretty but again, not functional. The glass shower in the middle of the room leaks water out and she needed to cover the whole area with towels to prevent flooding. The water basin is so small, when she washes her face, she has to control water force otherwise it spills over the place. Design fault.

The hotel was great! Close to the station and plenty of food around. We had a great time there, no complaints!

The hotel room was clean and close to the train station, about 3 mins.

Facilities are not good enough and room seems not to be clean , I felt not good to live in this hotel and will not pme agajn .

The hotel is very close to the bus and train station. Many restaurants are near by. I really love breakfast at the hotel!!!

The location is good. It's in front of the central station, so it's easy to go anywhere. But it's a bit... to go with friends. Because the shower room is transparent haha. There were too many mirrors in the room, so I was confused. And the water pressure is too strong, and since it's a hotel, there's no free water or electric kettle. It's a little disappointing.

The overall feeling is good! Excellent location and convenient travel.
