The Crescent Guesthouses - Bnb/Self Catering

I stayed at the crescent Guesthouse. Upon arriving myself and my colleagues felt unsafe within the neighborhood and the house had no electric fence or wire on the front which anyone could come in making us uncomfortable leaving our vehicle. When upon arrival our room was not prepared and we read one of their policies that said if there is any complaint against us regarding noise levels they will charge us a fee of R500 and call the authorities which was 1 of multiple rules that were unwelcoming. This was one of many rules they had which we were not noted of before our arrival. My colleague used the bathroom which did not flush and he had to use a bucket with water in order to flush the toilet and the state of the bathroom in general was very unsanitary. After all this when we decided we wanted to leave and asked for a refund the owner had a tantrum on how he was not going to refund us even though with the shocking conditions and the fact that there was no room prepared for us. I do not recommend this property for accommodation.
