Beppu Kaizan Accommodation Review
If I were to summarize my experience staying at Beppu Kaizan, the most impressive thing was the private open-air bath in the room. In particular, the structure of this open-air bath naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors was truly legendary. When I soaked my body indoors and then went outside, I felt a sense of openness and was able to maximize the charm of the hot spring.

If you don't have a car, you have to take a taxi (about 20,000 to 25,000 won from Beppu Station). I went there prepared to not come out once I got in. It's so cold in winter.

If you are not driving by yourself, you can take a bus to and from the city in the morning. You will need to take a taxi at night, which costs about ¥2,300.
The room is spacious and the open-air hot spring is really top-notch! But it will take a while to salvage the pool noodles.

If you want to enjoy the hot springs without being disturbed by others, I would recommend it, but
there is no breakfast or dinner service, and there is only one vending machine outside,
and the front desk closes at 6pm, so the hot spring water is too lukewarm late at night, so I couldn't ask for temperature adjustment.
Also, the location is not a place I would recommend without a car.
