This is the most cost-effective hotel I stayed in Japan on this trip. It has a bit of a hostel feel, but the rooms are standard Japanese inns, with tatami mats, private bathrooms, and spacious rooms. The hotel lobby, which I prefer to call a living room, is a relaxing space. Free drinks, tea, and coffee are available, and there are three game consoles at the bar. The bookshelf on the other side is filled with comic books. It's a short walk from Beppu Station, about a 10-minute walk.

Everything was great~
There was free water and drinks, which saved me a lot of money in the summer. There was crushed ice!
However, the Japanese-style rooms didn't have curtains...
I was woken up by the light at 5 a.m....
Light sleepers wouldn't recommend booking a Japanese-style room.

A truly wonderful experience. The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance of Don Quixote and across from a seaside park, making it convenient for hot springs. The shared kitchen allows you to buy groceries and cook your own meals, including beef. The family room was very comfortable and spacious, with a small living room. Clean and tidy, highly recommended.
