What I like most is that I feel free and comfortable when I go to the bath; the outdoor swimming pool on the top floor is very beautiful, overlooking the whole Beppu, and the photos are very beautiful and spectacular; the lobby is unique, different from the traditional five-star hotel, and the restaurant is a bit small. Let's talk about the software: the food needs to be improved, the buffet breakfast is a bit tasteless-hungry, but I don’t know what to eat after walking around, mainly Japanese style and supplemented by Western style, and the most important thing is that most of them are cold food and ice drinks. Dinner was not tasty and expensive - we ordered two Western dishes, chicken chop and steak set, which were not tasty, really not tasty, and cost about 25,000 yen. Later, we took a taxi down the mountain to find food. There was a restaurant at the T-junction of Yamane, which was delicious and not expensive. There were many locals. The bill was less than 4,000 yen. There was also a sushi restaurant, which was also good and cheap. From this point of view, the hotel restaurant has a lot of room for improvement. Finally, I would like to suggest that the stop for taking JR to the hotel is Beppu Station, not Beppu University Station, because most of the pick-up buses are at Beppu Station, and Beppu University Station requires waiting for half an hour and then transferring to the subway for four minutes after getting off at Beppu JR Station. It is really unnecessary. The hotel should change the name of the stop. Overall, it feels good.

On a small road on the main road of Beppu, 7 minutes away from a small hill, there is a city view room overlooking the ocean and mountains. It is very quiet and beautiful. On the day of check-in, Friday, the restaurant was surprisingly full. We made reservations in advance because we were too lazy to drive down the mountain for dinner, so we directly ordered room service. It was our first time to experience dining in the room. One set meal per person plus two drinks for four people cost about NT$3000. The next day we also paid extra for the buffet breakfast in the hotel, which cost about NT$2520 for four people. The environment and texture are super good, and it was a great enjoyment. The disadvantage is that the planning of the outdoor hot spring is not good enough. The stacked stones are too crowded, and the space for people to take a bath is very narrow. If there are too many people, they will not know where to stay.
