Moon Palace the Grand Cancun All Inclusive

The beach was very nice but checkout  had to be in person which was a nightmare since it was so far from my room I had to take the golf cart trolly who took me to the wrong checkout building and the line to checkout was ridiculous ! The resort also was way overpriced for the average food and service.

You should change beds. It is very uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep at all. I woke up every hour at night. Also don’t expect to see the ocean. Views from windows are sucks.

We had an awesome stay at the Moon Palace - The Grand Cancun earlier this month. We opted for a swim up room which the kids loved. When anyone asks what their favorite part was, they say there was a pool in the backyard! The amenities are incredible! 24-hour room service, in room beer, liquor, soda and juice included, pillow menu, aromatherapy and pillow mist, 3 water parks and arcade all included! The cherry on top though is truly the people! The staff is so kind and caring - we ran into a little hiccup with our balcony door malfunctioning and everyone we came in contact with, worked so hard to help us and the recovery efforts were 5 stars. I want to shout out Consuelo at the front desk who ensured we were happy with our replacement room and even let me see it ahead of time to make sure it was suitable. Nadyielli Rosalia who gave me an amazing facial at the spa, it was so relaxing and refreshing before we headed back to Canada. Jose at the lobby bar, not only did he make us his Instagram famous flambé old fashioned, but he also made us key lime pie shots (non-alcoholic for the kids) and matching martini to celebrate my upcoming birthday. The server at the steakhouse who I insisted I try the tacos with the bone marrow on top after I complimented the bone marrow appetizer, the PR team who checked in with us to ensure we were taken care of after the issue with our door, the bellboys who helped us move, the folks providing in room service from food delivery to mini bar stocking it was all done with kindness and care. Tomas the golf cart driver, was honestly the best part of our trip. My 4 year old always wanted to sit in the front and all the drivers were kind and made conversation with him, but Tomas really made a connection with our family. He engaged my son in conversation and even drove by the construction of the luxury suites so both my sons could see the construction vehicles!! (Don't worry the construction is near the lobby and didn't impact our stay with noise or dust or anything at all. My son's just have an obsession with machinery). Every time he drove by, my son would yell "hey it's my friend Tomas!" and we'd hop on his cart even if it was for a short ride. Tomas even went out of his way to pick us up for dinner after he had driven us from the water park a few hours earlier. He truly made the trip unforgettable by making a connection with us and we will certainly be looking for him next time we stay! See you soon Moon Palace!

There are no words to express our thanks for such a beautiful evening celebrating 35 years. We feel guilty that we got so much amazing attention to celebrate our anniversary. Carlos and the whole staff made us feel very special in more ways than we can explain. Our own private music and dinner and service. It’s like being a celebrity.
