Visit this pub everytime we arrive on the Island which is at least once a year for thelast 10 years or so. Had Sunday roast which was one of the best we have ever had. Excellent food, great beer and really good service. Booked for later afternoon & missed the musician which was a shame. A recent relaunch of the food at this pub has clearly been a success.

We had a lovely experience at the Crab and Lobster - the atmosphere was great and the food delicious. Highlights were the Seafood Tian starter with succulent prawns and a great sauce, and the Captains Burger with a rich beefy flavour. It was nice to see the Bear coming into the dining room showing his commitment to the success of this special venue, and the staff were all very friendly with Mia reminding us of the Sunday roasts coming soon! Well Done for the recent work to transform this great village pub!

We visited as a couple after following on facebook and seeing the recommendations online. We could not fault the service or the food. Absolutely outstanding. We had a sharing platter for both starter and main. Beautiful mix of food cooked to an excellent standard. We will definitely be visiting again. In response to other reviews - yes it was expensive but it was quality food and it was a treat.

Visited the Isle of Wight for a week and came across this pub,Nice pub good views but very expensive £16 for a gin and tonic and a pint of beer !

Well I would have loved to have pop a few photos from our food from this evenings dinner. However it didn’t stay on my plate for long enough! I had the sirloin chimichuri steak with 1/2 lobster and a side of homemade slaw! And it was the best meal of my holiday! The chimichurri was so fresh and just compliment the steak with was absolutely perfectly cooked! Lobster was delish! And the homemade slaw was just on another level! I like must have been breathing out of my ears as I didn’t draw breath to stop eating! It was absolutely spot on. Having been to this pub for years and years but not since the change over I can truely say this was the best it’s been! Wonderful friendly service and we sat out in the sun and watched the world go by. Faultless food!

Awesome place to stay in Bembridge, Natalie was especially welcoming and made the whole stay really fantastic all round. The view from the terrace is stunning and the food is so so good. A real BnB gem for sure, and I hope to be back soon.

I really enjoyed my stay at the crab. The staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome not just when you arrive but all your stay. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it
