Cannot recommend
The receptionist was nice and the area by the river was nice, but the hotel itself was awful and very dated. The small kitchen had a fridge but it must have been 30-40 years old, no facilities to make a cup of tea (or cups etc.).
The staff was cleaning and talking loudly in the hallway/room opposite ours at 11 pm (evening).
The balcony could do with a proper cleaning (see picture) - we did not sit there despite the nice view because the plastic furniture and the balcony itself was depressing to be near

Although the staff and service were excellent, the property and rooms appeared outdated. The absence of air conditioning made the stay challenging.

Personnel agréable, établissement ayant besoin d être rénové. Les pigeons viennent faire leur besoin sur les balcons donc inutilisable bien qu il y a table et chaises. Préciser a l accueil la couleur et le modèle de votre véhicule car vous retrouverez sur votre voiture un autocollant disant que le parking est réservé aux clients de l hôtel. Le personnel viendra le retirer avec de l acétone pour corriger le comportement inapproprié du propriétaire de l hôtel. Sinon literie impeccable, et bonne situation de l établissement.

Emplacement au top, il est facile de se déplacer à pieds et profiter de ce que Vichy a à offrir cependant le personnel de l'hôtel n'est pas accueillant, on était un groupe et chaque personne était hébergée à un étage, ils n'ont pas voulu changer de chambres, c'est décidé l'administration vous a attribué une chambre, on ne peut rien vous faire. Les chambres sont Sales, il y a des toiles d'araignées partout, les tapis contiennent trop d'humidité et de poussières. On sent des odeurs atroces dans les couloirs et le petit-déjeuner manque de variété. Personnellement je ne recommande pas Brit'hotel à moins que l'hôtel fait plus attention à l'accueil et la satisfaction de sa clientèle.

Points forts : L'hôtel est en cours de rénovation. Parking gratuit en bas de l'hôtel. Le coin cuisine est bien agencé et le réfrigérateur est très apprécié par ses fortes chaleurs. A quelques centaines de mètres, plusieurs enseignes connues...Aldi, Leclerc Notre chambre, au 6eme étage était spacieuse donnant sur le parc. Très calme, pas de bruit. Seulement la 1er nuit, notre voisine de chambre était très bruyante. Dommage qu'il a fait très chaud car nous n'avons pas pu profiter du balcon. La literie parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est correct. L'hôtel est situé à 15 minutes à pied du centre ville sur les bords de la rive. La ville est magnifique. Le personnel donne de bons conseils pour le séjour. Points faibles : Pas de clim, il faisait tellement chaud, impossible de fermer l'oeil de la nuit, on nous a prêté un ventilateur pour les 2 nuits suivantes. La VMC est HS, moment très désagréable de transpiration excessive avec la canicule lorsque tu sors de la douche. L'accueil très aimable mais pas du tout commercial, j'avais réservé début juin, (2,5 mois avant une chambre pour 2 personnes et un chien pour 3 nuits, ma chienne étant décédée 4 jours avant le séjour, malgré l'attestation du vétérinaire, les 5€ par nuit ne m'ont pas été remboursés. Malgré tout, j'espère revenir sur Vichy l'an prochain car la ville est vraiment agréable.
