This was my second visit to Taj Bekal, after a decade! And I'm happy to report, it was just as good an experience as my first visit... The lovely backwaters add to the tranquility, that let's you be at one with yourself, the foliage, lets u be at one with nature! The rooms open out into a courtyard that opens out onto the backwater and is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of chai. The Jiva Spa on this property is amazing too & a must experience! The staff in typical Taj fashion welcomes you & takes care of you from check-in to check-out. It's alwayyys amazing to experience #Tajness!

Beautiful property well maintained luxurious villa . Delicious food but the best part was hospitality each and every staff member was polite humble & friendly Nikita and shivani from restaurant jason sir and Shruthi from front office .My son who is 8 year old was extremely happy and wrote a letter of appreciation and gave to front office Ankit mehta Sep 2025

Taj Bekal is an excellent hotel. The property is massive with private beach and backwater facing. Rooms are extra ordinary and luxurious. Special mention to the staff and hospitality.. staff is what makes the stay special and Taj Bekal leaves no stone unturned. Special mention to Mr. Pramod who take care of us so well. We felt very warm when the general manager of the property to welcome and see off. It shows the high standards they have set.

Our stay at Taj Bekal was truly unforgettable. From the warm smiles that welcomed us to the thoughtful room upgrade, everything felt so special. The peaceful (rainy)surroundings and heartfelt hospitality made us feel cared for every moment. It wasn’t just a stay – it felt like a beautiful memory we’ll cherish for a long time. I need to mention some names. Yuktha and Sruthy- front office- too good girls. Made our stay memorable.

Had a fantastic stay at Taj, Bekal with family. This property is located close to the beach and surrounded by nature. The property is well designed to make it a natural habitat for various species. The backwaters of Kapil river mets the arabian sea within the property right on the beach. The beach is clean and the buggies are always available to drop and pick to and from the beach. Food at the Backwater Cafe is fantastic and all Taj staff really care for the guest's needs all the time. We had great time and will be back again. Thank you Taj.

The checkin was smooth thanks to Jason and Attivaram in the front office. Our room with a balcony having a large swing was over looking the backwaters. we could see a lot of colourful birds. The greenery around the backwaters was a feast for the eyes. Delicious snacks were served during evening high tea near the backwaters. The beach was clean but not safe for sea swimming. Nice for gazing the sunset. There are three restaurants. By the Bay restaurant on the beach predominantly served seafood and had live music. Grills and more was serving grilled food was beside the swimming pool, worth visiting and Backwaters cafe was multi cuisine - huge restaurant serving very good food. The breakfast spread was excellent with two separate live counters. The Chefs Harith and Majid need a word of praise . Putul was a very efficient and proactive girl who was covering two restaurants. Gopakumar in backwater cafe was good. The room was large and cozy. The bathroom was almost as big as the room and wes very clean. Lipika and Elvin in housekeeping did a good job.The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bar was very good and ably managed by an excellent bar tender Ganesh. He was kind enough to provide food from any of the restaurants we asked for. The J Wellness centre and Spa was very good. KC and Rini did a good job. Avdesh from F&B was very helpful. The only disappointing thing in the resort was the in room dining persons who sent rotten apples to the room in the fruit basket. Thats one area which needs attention. I am going back to the resort for my next vacation.
