-unfriendly and ill-mannered staff. -one employee was racist and extremely impolite. -water is yellowish and harmfully-smelly(they blamed the hygiene). -towels and bedding smelled like spelled bleach (blamed hygiene again).

My view: a wall of rooms of another hotel filled with bullet holes. That aside the staff here have been unhelpful and uncommodating. I am a journalist and need to be in different places. If you can find somewhere else than this, then do so.

Spent a night in the hotel after a delicious dinner at the summer Edition Parilla restaurant on the roof of the hotel near the pool. Staff was friendly specially the concierge who speaks French very well and knows how to welcome the guest of the hotel. Room needs some renovation a bit old but for the price, it is fair. Bathroom are clean. And had a partial sea view. Avoid first or second floor rooms if you like calm. Location is also a good point and the view from the roof is manificiant.

The location of this hotel is good although it's far from being a 'beach hotel' as it is on the opposite side of the promenade which has no beach but has a pleasant walk to see the fisherman catching small fish with very long poles. It was a bit disappointing that the rooftop bar and pool was being renovated ready for the summer season as that would have made the hotel a lot more fun. If you want some sunbathing the best bet is to head to one of the pool clubs on the promenade. Went to Riviere but there are a couple of others including a very nice one only about 200 yards from the hotel which is discreet and more expensive. The highlight of Beirut is the people, very friendly and up for a laugh and great nightlife too. Also the food is excellent. Would definitely go back.

Mr Ramy Kibbi With Guests who are seeking your help, you should give priority, listen to them and not loose your temper and misbehave inadequate. If i am paying a full price for a single room and can not use the room myself and have people waking me up and have no respect refusing to remove suitcases from other guests in my room, i call this Fraud. I stayed in that hotel 2 times before. All was ok. This time it was a Desaster!!!!!Unfortunately Mr Ramy, you do not fit there. Your behavior is one of those who should serve on streets and not on a desk in such a hotel. I love this hotel and it is the perfect place to stay in Beirut. Other people who work there are lovely, friendly and wonderful. Except of that night receptionist Ramy Kibbi who has no manner of whatsoever.

The staff was unorganized and unhelpful, leading to confusion and delays. Communication was severely lacking before the event, making it difficult to get necessary information. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that did not meet expectations.

Check in took about 30 minutes due to staff unable to find my reservation. The stay description included gym access. However the gym area was completely closed and not accessible. I requested towels to be sent to the room they arrived 25 minutes later, therefore, the service was wasn’t that great.
