China National Convention Center Reviews

We chose this hotel because of the reasonable price during Chinese New Year period and its location in the area we wanted to visit. It's close to the metro station and buses too if you can work out the apps. There are plenty of Didis and taxis around apart from New Year's Eve. The room is slightly dated by clean and large, bed is comfortable and bathroom does its job. We didn't use the hotel's breakfast but there is a new mall across the road with several cafes like Luck In, and many restaurants big and small, as well as a supermarket, so no worries even during Chinese New Year. There is also a larger shopping mall 10 min walk away if one feels do some more shopping. The hotel is close to Birds Nest stadium and Water Cube Swimming center if one feels a bit of sports. There is also a skating rink on the frozen lake nearby. The staff are very friendly and daily cleaning crew works well.

Thank you so much for the wonderful and helpful reception staff and room service staff. The room is very large, well-maintained and clean. (The design of the room is practical and comfortable, and not fancy, which I appreciate a lot.) The beds and chairs are comfortable. The view is amazing, one can see the Bird’s Nest Stadium and the Water Cube. The convention centre is just a short walk away. The breakfast in the hotel has lots of food options. There is a shopping mall just across the street. The metro station near to the hotel is on line 8, which will take you to QianMen, WangFuJing without requiring interchange of lines. But taking a taxi is also a convenient way to travel to anywhere. We have stayed in this hotel for many times, and we look forward to our next stay in the hotel.

Location is ideal for those going to places like the Stadiums nearby for concert. The price is very reasonable considering the location and it’s a 5-stars hotel. There’s a shopping mall just across the street and metro station a short walk away. Room is very spacious and comfortable. On one of the morning, there were 2 guys whom I don’t know knocked on my door. I called the front desk and soon after the manager and his colleagues came up to investigate and confirmed that the 2 guys mixed up my room number with their friends. Felt quite assured with the prompt reactions by the hotel staff.

I appreciated my staying here because the room was clean, the swimming pool is suitable and location is quite good. However, it’s a bad smell like smoking in the room. One thing I’d like to recommend is setting a bidet toilet as in Japanese hotels. Thank you.

Overall, I had a good stay at the China National Convention Center. I would recommend it for business travelers looking for convenience and comfort. I would consider returning in the future!

the person at the reception when i was checking in was terribly unprofessional and did not even greet the guest nor look when talking. The rest of employees were super nice including the person who helped me for check out.

very near to exhibition center and olympic stadion.

This was a nice friendly hotel next to the Beijing Olympic Park. I had a nice big comfortable room with all amenities. Breakfast is OK -- mainly Chinese with some Western options. Would stay there again.

Second stay athid hotel. Close to MRT station and olympic park.

The hotel is starting to show its age, the rooms smell a bit old, the amenities are also a bit clunky. However the hotel makes up for it with a very good location, an amazing gym, and a reasonable price (most of the time). There are 2 big malls nearby, the subway right next to the hotel building. And also the Olympic park in sight. I would recommend if you don't care about "old fashion" furnitures. It can also be interesting.

China National Convention Center offers average facilities but benefits from its convenient location near the modern CNCC Phase 2 development.

This was a good and our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The only thing is that it was not very clear that they wanted to have deposit plus payment when we checked in, would have been good if this was explained in more detail. Otherwise I would recommend again for the future.
