Guantong Modern Hotel (Beijing Qianmen) Reviews

Excellent location. The hotel is 2 min walk, next to 珠市口 (Line 8) metro station (exit C), and 10 min walk, across the main road to the entrance of Qianmen St 前門大街入口. Need to walk around and onto overpass in order to cross this main road. See pic. The room is small but sufficient for sleeping at night. The bathroom, however, got flooded after shower. There was no real separation between sink/toilet and shower. It would be helpful to have a mop and extra towels to clean the wet floor.

Good location.

The hotel is a bit old and some things break too easily, but the hotel staff is always very quick to amend any issues and we felt very cared for during our stay. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the metro station and popular Qian Men street with many delicious restaurants.

The hotel location is good, closed to all the attractions, less than 1 minute walk to metro station and bus stop. The only drawback is no elevator in the hotel.

The hotel was very nice, in a good location and the room was a good size. It was also very warm in the room. However, we thought it was a little expensive compared to what we’ve paid in the rest of China. This may be because it coincided with spring holiday, so it was probably more expensive than usual. Otherwise a very nice hotel.

Very simple, but comfortable hotel. The room and toilet were very clean and the location is good, right next to the subway station.

Very clean, right next to metro so very convenient for getting around. Bit dated and not super comfy beds but good value.

The location is very good, close to qianmen street. Facilities are run down but ok enough for a few nights. Reception staff as usual does not speak any english but they are helpful and kind.

Good location, two minutes walk from the metro station and 10 minutes walk to Qianmen street. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!
