Everything was good quality during our stay here: customer service, views of the lovely area around the lake, size of the sites, and the amenities block was super clean (probably the cleanest I have ever experienced in a caravan park). The only suggestion I would make is that it would be nice to be given a choice of camp sites. As it happened now, all campers were placed very close to each other even though there were other more private sites available.

This is a very friendly And clean Caravan Park which is situated in a very convenient position close to the town centre. We stayed in a Cabin which had all the amenities that were needed to make our stay pleasurable. I would stay again and would also highly recommend this park to anyone.

Very friendly staff with fantastic communication from booking through to departure. Facilities were modern and kept clean, the park was large and in a great location, short walk to the historic township of Beechworth. We highly recommend this caravan park as it is set up to accommodate your desired needs (quiet and tranquil or entertaining with mini golf, volleyball etc). We will definitely stay again. Well-worth staying. Perfectly located on Lake Sambell which for us put on evocative misty mornings, must come back for swimming! Close enough to everything - history, nature, snow fields. A great place to explore, and a great base for further-afield adventures. The cabin was perfectly set-up, bed was so comfy we all had the best sleep. Kids had a bunk bed and one up store luggage. All the gear in the kitchen we needed, some juggling with counter-space but not a drama. Other cabins were quiet, next time we’d hire a fire pit for behind our cabin but with so much rain we didn’t. A last-minute request to stay an additional night due to a hiccup with our next accomodation was able to be accommodated, for which we were very grateful. We barely scratched the surface - didn’t get a chance to use the mini-golf! - but would definitely go back.

We have just returned home after our stay at Lake Sambell Caravan Park in Beechworth. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin with our doggo. The bed was very comfy and the cabin was set up with all the amenities you would find at home. The cabin was very cosy and warm which is just what you need in Winter time. Lake Sambell Caravan Park has a very picturesque and peaceful vibe. It's only minutes from the Beechworth town centre too so convenient. We stayed at Lake Sambell Caravan Park for 5 nights. Others were staying for the weekend, or just overnight. The accommodation on offer was cabins as well as powered and un-powered campsites. Lake Sambell provides accommodation to suit every budget too. We chose Lake Sambell because pets are welcome all year round. The amenities block was very clean too. Undercover BBQ areas would be great in the warmer months. MUST, MUST visit the look out platform at the Woolshed Falls. Just Wow!!!

A fabulous caravan park with really well maintained amenities. Close to the beautiful Beechworth town centre and 30-40 minutes drive to Myrtelford and Bright and the Milawa wine country. Winter is wonderful and cold, but the park allows fires and can provide good quality hardwood and kindling.

Fantastic and peaceful location, a very easy walk into Beechworth, and easy access to so many other attractions. Park is immaculately maintained, and sites are easy to reverse onto. The park is family run and the owners are lovely. Being allowed fires, with wood delivered to your site, is an absolute bonus. Highly recommend this park.

Always love our stay here. The pet friendly cabin is spotlessly clean, well appointed and in a good location. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, and maintenance and upkeep of the property is always being done by the hard working crew. A good value pet friendly retreat in a lovely setting.

We recently stayed at the park for three nights, Immediately my wife fell in love with the park and the town. We loved the park layout right on the lake ,with beautiful colourful trees especially in Autumn. The staff are fantastic and even helped us navigate our van into our site. We will be visiting again this year for sure, We will stay for longer next time, For us it felt like home.
