The Swan Motel, Gillingham

Visited here with family for a weekend to celebrate a friends 80th it was absolutely amazing all the staff looked after us all and couldn’t do enough for us the rooms are lovely the food and breakfasts at the motel are the best will defo recommend

On arrival we were greeted very warmly and was able to book a room in the restaurant for an evening meal. The room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. Food excellent, huge portions!! Good value for money. Would definitely book again.

We had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for a week, myself, my husband + my dad, we couldn’t fault a thing, from the minute we arrived the staff were friendly + welcoming, our room was lovely, homely, spacious, clean + with everything we needed. We tried a couple of the evening meals, breakfasts + the Sunday carvery all excellent, also a nice bar area or lots of room in the gorgeous garden to enjoy a drink. Highly recommended

Stayed here in my motorhome as our daughter live just up the road. Realy great place. staff where excellent. we all had Sunday roast (advise you book in advance as it very busy) all very well cooked. If you are staying in your van, it was very quiet at night and the carpark is very flat and didn't need any levels. would definitely stay again.

Stayed in are moterhome in the carpark .Staff were excellent and very professional at all times .Greeted by a lovley ladies on the Saturday lunch time and nothing was to much trouble. Booked for Sunday lunch .Had drinks on Saturday night and made to feel welcome at all times .Landlord works hard to keep the motel up to a high standard. Not frightened to get his hands dirty and on the Sunday morning he was looking after the garden s around the motel and pub .Sunday dinner was excellent and the staff in the kitchen worked hard and always smiling as it's a open carvery. We meet up with are family and everyone enjoyed there meal .Big Thank You to the Swan staff for making the weekend a happy one .

Decided to change our place to stay with friends to The Swan Motel and well worth the change. The well appointed rooms were great. Very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was well cooked and presented. We didn’t eat dinner but the menu had lots of choice and the dishes we saw looked very good, booking recommended. We will be back next year. Thank you.

We simply had the best stay here! The lady behind the bar and the owner are so accommodating. We are were going to venture into town in the afternoon to watch the FA cup final but we’re so glad we didn’t. The food and drink were great, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and should we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stop by! Thank you again for a great stay:)

Friendly, helpful staff. Room clean. Everything you needed was in yhe room which was cleaned everyday. Food good. Plenty of parking. Great location for our needs & plenty to do in the area. This was our second stay & we will definitely stay here again.

Some meals now and then were edible but 3 in 5 needed cooking more. The building is clean well kept and beautiful but in UK there’s a saying the customer is always right, if staff are aggressive and tell lies about patron as it has of late that establishment will perish without patrons to keep it going.
