"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was that I had requested a little surprise for my wife's birthday, but it did not happened, not sure if the booking agent didn't convey this request. When I entered our room, there's no decor or even a birthday card (the least I'm expecting). It was during the Barbecue Buffet dinner (Friday 22/8/25) that the chef asked me if the buffet spread was good or if we had any special request meal that I told him that we were here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and he went out of his way to surprise my wife with a birthday cake and song. We would like to extend our greatest gratitude to the F&B team as well as the concierge team for the wonderful service."

"As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort. But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose. There are activities that can be in and around the resort. First time tried kayaking and archery. All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out. I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name."

"A Nice ambience relaxed resort. Room looks exactly like the posted photos. Got a small kitchen. Quiet on weekdays. Shower water pressure is strong and service crews are warmth and friendly. Arrival pickup and drop off saves a lot of hassle. Far from city. If you have a few days in Bintan, you can book a private one day tour which will bring you to various sightseeing spots. Guests from Cassia can use swimming pool and spa facilities at Angsana resort. Breakfast at Angsana Resort - Lotus, quite a good spread. Lunch at Vista within it's own premise - fried kway teow is delicious and dinner at Xana, western grill meat and seafood near beach - Pizza and Lamb chop is great (if served on hotplate will be perfect cause food went cold pretty fast 😅). Cassia has also some activities set each day, guests can sign up with friendly front desk. Next to the swimming pool, there is a game corner, for playing chess and snooker. Also a turtle pool not far away, children will be delighted to see turtles swimming. Great place to stay for a few days."

"Overall, the Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan offers a decent stay, particularly if you're travelling with family and looking for good value. The definite highlight was the room itself. We found it to be spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing plenty of room for everyone. The bathroom was also quite good – clean and functional. For the price point, the quality of the accommodation felt very reasonable. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. While the hotel boasts a rooftop bar and restaurant, we found it to be noticeably expensive. Guests should budget accordingly if planning to dine or drink there frequently. The breakfast included with the stay was unfortunately not very impressive, lacking variety and quality compared to what we might have expected. Location-wise, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel is near the Lagoi Bay area, but we found the water at the nearby beach wasn't particularly clean during our visit. It's also important to note that the hotel is quite far from the main town centres like Tanjung Pinang, so accessing local eateries or shops requires transport and planning. The staff were generally okay – they handled requests adequately, but didn't particularly stand out for exceptional service. In summary: Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan is a solid choice if your priority is a large, comfortable room at a reasonable price, making it suitable for families. However, be prepared for potentially high costs at the rooftop restaurant, a basic breakfast offering, a beach that might not be ideal for swimming, and a location that's relatively isolated. If you manage expectations regarding dining and location, it can be a pleasant base for your Bintan trip."

"25/5 It was last minute plan to bintan island and we booked at bonvoy natra bintan. A few days before our trip i did text thru WhatsApp Natra customer service about our arrival it was fast response and yeah they do provide service pickup shuttle from the terminal bintan telani ferry to their hotel just provide them our ticket transaction and they do standby someone who gonna pickup during the day itself. Our ferry terminal to their hotel hotel it took about 5-10 mins ish journey once we reach the hotel our plan to just park our luggage while exploring other place. But surprisingly we are able to do a check in by 11.40 ish . The front desk really did her great( i couldn’t remember her name start from (Letter M i guess) she really passionate with her job after she explained to us about the facilities how and where once all done they send the bellboy to guide us to our room since it just so near the front desk so we just walk to the room. The room that we choose are Pool View King Tent With Sofa Bed And Whirlpool the room can fit up to 4 pax can req either king or twin bed along with pull out sofa bed. Oh btw this place has a big lagoon that under 3rd parties which is all the water sports activities are not inc in of our hotel facilities but they do have packages with or just 1 water sports itself and for hotel guess have 20% off which is for me affordable which is we do cable ski and lagoon kayak during sunset it was so nice and not so humid btw here the sunset is around 5-6pm ish . The hotel does provide shuttle to lagoon beach with the timing provide and need to register in advance at the front desk the shuttle is twice a day or you may book grab its available in bintan island. The resort itself got do package like common that we heard only non breakfast and breakfast. But here they do have breakfast + dinner (BBQ) or breakfast + lunch + dinner (BBQ) that could share up to 3pax for small eaters but we decided to just have our dinner at the patio restaurant & bar the food is on the standard. the portions and the food quality make the restaurant is worth to try with peaceful surroundings and amazing waiters are so polite and keep attending to anyone in the restaurant to make sure that we satisfy with the service. so far the that made us so amazed here is a scattering of stars in the sky which is hard to get in my place and feel so appreciated to the universe and so calm sometimes after run from the city bustle. And while seeing the scattering of stars we able to do a breeze walk about 1.99km even the darkness of the moon illuminates the path and every 5-10 mins that a security keep rounding the place which is make us feel so safe to be surrounded. One the next day for breakfast we went out for breakfast that a few varieties from asian, western and got their local which is Indonesian and i would like to compliment one of your services staff at the restaurant if im not wrong his name is (YOGI) from the time we check in until every time when we pass by the restaurant he will keep greeting not only us but those who’s pass by at the restaurant either to the lagoon or back to the room. And during check out in the afternoon we decided to do extend our check out since our return ferry is around 5 ish ++ pm and front desk told us that we able to extend until our ferry depart with price discounted price (1 Million IDR) and for us is so affordable price and they arranged shuttle to the ferry terminal. So far natra has left me a great experience as i can say if you looking to avoid from the city bustle you may choose Bintan rather then Batam ❤️"

"This could be a 5* thing, for now it feels more like 4 to 4.5 * for me. Let me explain. First of all, there are many really big upsides for the Nirwana Resort: - The hotel is in a wonderful location. The beach directly in front of the hotel is beautiful, however if you explore a little further, the beach right next (connected to some rentable mini-houses) is also part of the Nirwana area and even cleaner and more inviting for a direct swim. - The room was even nicer than anticipated via the photos. Everything was tastefully designed, clean and room-service did a great job daily. The hotel itself is abut 35 years old, very close to the sea and constantly exposed to salty winds. It's just amazing that they managed to maintain the open-corridors in such a great condition. There's a lot of wooden features (which look really good imho). - The staff is friendly and helpful. You will find plenty of activities if that is your thing. Now to the kinda neutral part: Some of the in-hotel facilities were not available during our stay. For example to get to the gym you had to switch to another building a few hundret meters away. You still get everything you need, so it's not really a complaint - more a thing of convenience but since all the surrounding area is pretty nice I would recommend exploring a bit anyway. The two main negative factors were: - It's a very secluded resort and there is no normal supermarket or anything similar nearby for basic daily needs like water or what-have-you. This means you will need to pay mega-premiums. 1 L of water costs over 100k Rupias or about 7 to 8 USD. A small bottle of coke is about $3.5. Same goes for all other snacks, drinks and foods. They are very overpriced, just because you don't have a choice. Another example: A pizza + a ”gourmet” burger were close to $50. I wouldn't even complain if it was really ”gourmet”. However not even close: You can eat both, it's not terrible but it's very basic, the pizza too dry and kinda small, the burger the most boring I had in years and not great beef at all. Same goes for all the other food we had in the in-house restaurant. It's not bad but every dish feels like something is a bit off or missing or just very basic. Especially for the premium price you pay this seems not right. There are two more restaurants within ~1km walking distance: An indian restaurant. Pricing is on the higher side but more reasonable than the indoor restaurant. Tandoori chicken was over-spiced (not hot just too strong taste with nothing to compliment it) and very dry/boring. The infamous butter chicken was great, though. I would recommend the ”Spicy restaurant” (4 stars) but make sure you get something with sauce. And then there is a seafood restaurant. It's really pricy (especially when compared to seafood in Batam for example) but you get an incredible fresh and well seasoned fish/crab/prawn selection that makes it worth 100% to visit. Also the view is fantastic. I actually would rate this whole experience 5 stars - if you would get the basics (water, coke, some smaller snacks) for a fair price; right now this part feels a bit like a rip-off. Also, local taxi service is a bit over-priced, same goes for activities. I really don't mind spending more, but there needs to be a balance where you don't feel taken advantage of. If you don't care about that, I would fully recommend the stay at Nirwana Hotel."

"Families first time to this place very nice to relax. So thankful who fetch us Tedi (martedi) very kind , good service and pleasant. To manger Hardi first assist us very clear to explain so helpful, kind, good service and friendly. Nur who smiling face. Good ambience and relaxing. Breakfast good complete. My kids love it especially egg prata but our last day prata over cook,(sad),cannot service . The best snorkelling we recommend this water sport. Everything perfect except to shower so little water come out and cannot control heat . Cleaning of room Okay everyday cleaning but never wash the cups. And never give shower gel and shampoo. Overall relax and wonderful experience. We will come back here hope got changed for shower."

"The place was what I was going for just to relax by the water (sea) and not crowded because it's not a big place. Definitely not for big groups. The staffs were very friendly Lun, Tika and the others. The Chef (Chef Betty) was very creative and made an effort to create dishes for someone who is not able to have anything gluten. I did not asked but it was all her initiatives. It made you feel welcomed. The service was top notch! Kudos to all!!!"

"Have stayed in at least more than 20hotels in my lifetime, this is by far the most beautiful and serene hotel ever. Splendid lush landscape with multiple seatings that allow one to relax while immerse with the landscape around. This place just let you reset your busy lifestyle. Love the multiple pools for kids to explore and kids club to entertain the kids. The rooms are superb and clean. Staff are also very courtesy, attentive and hardworking. Everyone walks around with a smile. Bicycles are littered around the estate that allow you to grab and go (the place is quite huge, so a bicycle actually helps alot!). Wifi access is superb too, everywhere we go, we got wifi access (better than our esim!) Guess the only let down is the pillows that seems abit too soft and the food choice is quite limited and not the best tasting, also they are quite expensive. But well, the hotel rooms, staff, amenities are enough to distract us off these small negligent negativity. As such, still 5 stars from us! Tip: Do sign up as member to get 20% off all food and drinks! It's Free"

"The villa was beautiful, even better than the pictures. However, cleanliness was slightly lacking, we had sand on our toilet floor even though we did not go to the beach. Service was pretty good, quick and fast response to queries, staff were all pretty friendly as well. Three things that could be improved were management of flies, the environment (temperature, humidity) of their restaurant, as well as the breakfast selection. Whenever we had a meal in the restaurant, there were a myraid of flies flying around us and our meal, which was certainly less than appealing. The restaurant was also warm and humid. Lastly, breakfast selection were subpar at best, taste wise was average. Overall, okay stay, would consider coming back for the villa but would skip anything food and restaurant related. Side note: if you are afraid of bugs, the toilet is a huge downside to this villa as its open concept, which means bugs would be present in the toilet (there was a small worm on the toilet paper)."
