This was a beautiful resort; the sunrise and sunsets were so pretty. Lots to do for kids (table tennis, pools, toasting marshmallows, play area, hammocks on “beach”, chess etc). Access to skyliner was great, we never had to queue for it (except when returning from parks in the evening). Room was clean and spacious (we opted for a 5th sleeper room in Barbados so our two kids wouldn’t have to share a bed). The feature pool was great, children loved the slides and theming. One evening was so relaxing on the sun loungers there because there was a steel drum pair performing outside the bar. We ate a couple of times at the center town market - making use of the pre-order app feature, and the free resort refillable mugs were a much appreciated extra! Staff were all so friendly, in the shop, front desk, cleaning and maintenance etc. Yes it’s a big resort but we requested Barbados to place us close to the skyliner and to the main resort facilities so it wasn’t too far to walk. The one main negative for us was the noise of other families - so loud and inconsiderate when walking along the external corridors past your hotel room very early in the morning! Not great to be woken before 7am on the day after you land when you’re all tired and jet lagged. Perhaps the windows could be soundproofed more?

Now I have to say that we are 100% loyal guests of Disney's Port Orleans Riverside; however, for a change of pace, we decided to spend one night at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort -- and I'm glad we did. This is a Disney moderate resort and so the rooms are structured the same here as they are at POR -- only difference is the theming. Fun rooms with a double sink vanity, standard shower/tub combo, mini fridge, coffee maker etc... some rooms have the extra pull-out bed. We were located in the Barbados section, which was a very convenient walk to the main pool, hotel lobby (Old Port Royale) & food court (Centertown Market -- check out my other review on them as well!!). Our Caribbean Beach bus stop was also close and we never had an issue with delayed busses. However, this is a massive resort so I can see that if you were on the other side of the property it'd be a lot of extra steps on those weary feet! We did not take the Skyliner to/from the parks on this trip but the Aruba section would be the closest to it. You can also head next door to the Riviera Resort to dine and/or catch a bus if you prefer. We loved the tropical/beach theme and enjoyed swaying in the hammocks on the sandy shores in the evening. Food court had several options and we ate there for both dinner and breakfast... though it did not seem as spacious as POR (maybe I'm biased!). However, our food was great and the staff was always friendly.

The hotel is ok but is NO better than the Budget hotels like Pop Century or Art of Imagination so save your money if needed. The Art of Imagination is better in my opinion. One thing that we all complained about but reception didn’t help at all was how noisy the rooms are. We had an interconnecting room with someone we didn’t know and they were so noisy which would have been ok if the walls and door weren’t so thin. I go every year to Florida Disney and have noticed that the old Disney Customer Service quality which was Legendary is no more, Disney cast members aren’t the same these days I’m afraid. Just a job now and there not proud to wear the badge

The room was dated. The bed advertised on the website was king size. Our room had a queen size bed. The aircon was very loud and the fan speed was not adjustable, assuming the selector was faulty. It was either full speed or off. The bathroom was small, with the shower in the bath. It was however functional. We had interlinking rooms with our children, which was nice to have. We were placed in the very last rooms on the resort, which have not been renovated in years, it seems. Be sure to ask for an upgraded room. The buses run regularly throughout the resort and the drivers are very pleasant. The Disney Skyliner is a nice option to get to the parks, and runs efficiently from this resort. Definitely a 3 star resort. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

Disney at its best. Lovely family room, everything in the resort is spotless. The food court at Port Royale is a bit like a sausage factory, it’s always very busy, but it’s Disney! We loved it all. We stayed in Martinique in block 24, and we found it to be a good base, close to the amenities. Very happy, didn’t want to leave. Recommend.

Disney's CBR is an older property (partially formally the old Key West Beach Resort just expanded and updated) but perfectly situated along the new skyliner track that connects Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The skyliner is a gondola type transportation system that is rumored to be undergoing an expansion in the coming years to add Disney's Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. The rooms are spacious, we went with a family of 6 and had plenty of room. The one downside is the room cooler which is a small fridge type device that can hold a gallon of milk and some fruit at 40 degrees F. So if you plan to stay for a long time, make sure to plan ahead and bring an additional cooler. The main pool is one of the best pools on any Disney property, and is situated in Port Royal. If you stay in Jamica you can easily access the skyliner and Port Royal. Pro- Tip - Disney's Riviera Resort while newer is also situated along the skyliner track, however, its in a bad spot where you will be lucky to get a gondola given that its a pass through junction between Hollywood and Epcot, where as CBR requires a transfer and as guarantees a quick trip.

Thank you Jess and Candy your kindness and swift actions made all the difference. Our stay at the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort was magical because of your outstanding hospitality. Also the resort location offers easy access to the skyline. Our last trip we stay at the Floridian which only uses the monorail and bus transportation service. The skyline is by far more superior and less crowded.

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach for 2 weeks in July 2025 - a party of adults and older teenage kids. We've been to Orlando a number of times, but this is the first time in a long time that we've stayed in a Disney hotel. We'd chosen this one in particular as it had access to the skyliner and we had the quick service dining plan included. Even though this is one of Disney's moderate collection of hotels, the landscaping is beautiful, the resort is sprawling and a lovely mix of bright colours. It was lovely just to stroll around. We asked to stay in the Jamaica section as it was closest to the skyliner station and we had a bus stop pretty much outside. The walk to the main pool and restaurants was under 10 mins and was pretty flat so no hardship. The main lobby is lovely and open, the staff, as you expect from Disney, were all super accommodating and helpful. We checked in online in the app - so went straight to our rooms, but you need to visit the main reception to get hold of your dining plan cards and refillable resort cups. The clock starts ticking on meals and snacks the day you arrive so you need to get eating to make sure they don't stack up and go to waste! The was a decent selection of food on the breakfast and dinner menus - and a Joffreys stand next to the skyliner for excellent coffees. I think the rooms are in the process of being refurbed - ours was a little older, immaculately clean and was serviced every other day - it does sleep up to 5 but we maxed out the storage with 4 of us. The bathroom is small but it's perfectly serviceable. Of course there's a TV with a number of Disney channels - a decent size fridge and a clever Mickey Alexa which came in handy. There's a tonne of parking and as well as the skyliner there is the bus service that runs all day to and from the parks so it's easy to get around. We used the main pool, which had music, entertainment, plenty of sun beds and towels to use. There is also a smaller pool in each different section of the hotel - which were generally less busy. There's also an outdoor area that was showing movies at night which was a lovely touch. The 4 stars just reflect the value for money - it's not cheap to stay here, all the extras help, but the interiors of the rooms aren't quite a 5 star rating - but we loved it and would recommend.

This was our first time staying here and it was a beautiful spot. The resort is large so it took us some time to walk from our room to the main hub but it allowed for it to feel like we had our own remote resort. We were close to the skyliner which made it easy to get to two of the parks and allowed for an easy trip back to the hotel room for a mid day nap. The bed was a little short length wise (we got a king) but it was comfortable. The curtains in the room allowed the sun to be blocked out letting us sleep in if we wanted. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. The quick service by our room had their soda machine broken which was a little inconvenient but we didn't mind because there was on in our building that we could refill our cups with. The room was clean and it was family friendly but you didn't run into kids everywhere you turned. We definitely will be back!

The beds were like sleeping on concrete, the air conditioning didn't get below 75, and the towel bars kept falling off the wall. It's in a great location and staff is very nice. The room it just was not great at all. We woke up with back pains every morning.

Huge callout to Aaron at the Banana Cabana bar. He was positive, attentive, and provided excellent service. He is what I recall as the Disney employee brand from my childhood. He is an outstanding representative of Disney.

Been here before, booked Jamaica to be close to Skyliner cuz this is a biiig resort. Love the food court, grabbed food & headed to Epcot, so convenient & great ride. Keith Gilmore, one of the duty managers, helped me figure out how to get to MK & Poly. Appreciate him, cuz it takes 3 transfers! Do Skyliner to HS, then bus to MK, then monorail to deluxe resorts. Good thing it's a fun ride, lol. Hotel so pretty & pastel, love looking around, great shops & staff.

We a great stay at Carribean Beach over the summer. We had a fifth sleeper room in the Aruba building right next to the skyliner stop. Location was so convenient for transportation with both the skyliner and bus stop a few mins from our room. We also really enjoyed the amenities including the drink refill station in our building. The pool was amazing we spent the first few hours we were there before our room was ready swimming and relaxing at the pool my boys had a blast on the water slides we also got a large cheese pizza at the main restaurant in the lobby and it was affordable and really tasty. Room was really clean and comfortable even for a family of five. Whenever we needed anything it only took a quick phone call to housekeeping and they brought it over super quick. The grounds were beautiful my son really enjoyed laying on the hammocks on the beach area and I just loved the plant life throughout the property . We will 100 percent come to stay here again on our next Disney world trip.

Loved it.... Had stayed at Port Orleans Riverside Christmas 12 months ago and that was fab but we have just rebooked to stay at Caribbean beach again. Yes its a big resort but its well designed so you are not a million miles from anywhere. Skyline to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is a major bonus. There were 4 of us in a 5th sleeper room. The kids are adult size and we didn't use the 5th bed. Nice size and there was nothing to whinge about. The resort is so nice and the staff were great. We are not high maintenance but when we asked for anything i.e. struggled with using the laundry machines, the staff went over and above. I highly recommend the resort.
