I've just returned from a glorious week at the Hideaway with my two young adult daughters. We had a great time and loved all the restaurants and the buffet was excellent too. Very friendly staff who worked really hard. Stunning hotel and location and sad to be honest in rainy London.

This trip was absolutley amazing! My sister and I received the most amazing royal treatment from the moment we arrived. The resort was spectacular. Our room was beautiful and clean. We stayed in the diamond club room and loved every minute of the Hideaway section. The food was unbelievable, there was never a time that I didn't like what was served. The staff are so loving and welcoming. Even being back home in Canada and texting them to see how things are. From Jennifer at the hideaway coffee bar to Mary at the lobby bar, Lenny our butler and who can forget Yolanda and the hideaway pool activities section, along with Juan and Sandy pour our drinks. This was a trip that not only made memories for me and my sister but for the amazing staff that I can now call family. I promise I will be back. Much love from Canada!!!!

We would not return to this hotel. While our experience was not horrible, for a property of this category we felt it did not meet the expectations described. There was a clear lack of coordination among staff, as requests made during our stay never reached the right people. The room service food was of very poor quality, with no presentation, and nothing like what was described on the menu — what arrived was not the same dish ordered. At the burger bar, we experienced one of the poorest service interactions we’ve had in a long time. When I asked about soft drinks without gas, the waiter responded “What’s that?”, and when I inquired about other options, without even looking at me, he seemed bothered to answer and said they only had three choices. Considering the high temperatures during our visit, the lack of air conditioning was very uncomfortable. When we asked to take our food away, there was no proper solution — our burger was handed to us in a napkin as if it were to wipe our hands, and we were told we could not eat there. In our room, the coffee machine was full of insects. Even after it was cleaned, staff entered our room on three separate occasions while we were sleeping to “clean” it again, without being aware of each other’s visits or the fact that it had already been taken care of. Our stay was short as we were traveling around the country on our honeymoon, but we would not return. In other hotels in the same area — even those with lower recognition — we have found much better quality in service, food, and overall guest experience. We visit this region every year for various reasons, and this hotel unfortunately did not meet the standard we’ve come to expect.

My wife and I had an excellent time! The good was the staff, entertainment and again, the staff! Our room attendant Nelio was excellent. He was very attentive to our needs that enhanced our vacation experience. The service staff at Scores made me feel at home, and the wings were just the way I like them. The resort did a good job in keeping you entertained nightly, especially with the White Party. The bad was the water. We had a temporary incident with brown water. They got corrected by the end of the day. The just “ok” was the food in the general dining. . Sometimes it was really good, other times it was meh. The specialty restaurants (steak, Italian & seafood) was pretty good. Overall, I would definitely recommend booking your vacation here!
