Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

With the renovation of the Grand Palladium Bavaro being closed, 4 of their main restaurants were closed, so your restaurant choices were limited. The resort staff took great efforts to satisfy us after some major confusion about the reservations and the number of beds needed in each room. William & concierge Yilmo professionally took my family under their wings to ensure we enjoyed our stay and all issues got resolved. Antonio, Obama, Phenix, and Michael were the BEST! These guys made sure they were there to take us all around the resort and show us the Grand Palladium. Cons: The resort rooms are outdated, which need renovation. The tub/shower was horrible! Water would get all over the floor with each shower. Taking a shower felt like a major task to safely get in/out. Something needs to improve with the tub/shower before someone gets seriously hurt. It was also hard to adjust the water temperature before getting in the shower! Cons: It's a quiet resort with very few activities. (need more cross-cultural events) Cons: The music played at activities or around the pools was mostly Latin-based music and not cross-cultural music. Cons: The resort needs to invest in a faster clean-up system for removing seaweed from the beach area! Cons: The Spa needs to improve its method of making guest feel welcomed. We purchased the hydrotherapy package. Staff didn't show the guest where to start or how to finish! Pros: The staff was amazing, Antonio, Obama, Phenix, Michael, Yilmo, William and (Juan-Las Torres waiter). The housekeeping staff kept the rooms clean and provided plenty of towels and washcloths upon request. Pros: A'la carte dining restaurants were good, but my favorite was the El-Dorado steakhouse! Portofino, the pizza was delicious and Sumtuori was entertaining with it's teppanyaki style. My least favorite was Bhogali. The food was too spicy!!!!!!! Pros: The resort's grounds were EMACULATE!!! The grounds were very well kept. Pros: Plenty of trees and greenery. the resort is nestled away in beautiful greenery. Would I return to this resort? Of course, if quiet and relaxation is on your agenda but if you are looking for a party resort, this is NOT the resort! Overall, for the money spent versus the service, the food quality I would give this resort a thumbs up!

I had a wonderful family vacation at the GP Punta Cana Resort & Spa. It was made even more special having planned my wedding at the Resort. The Resort and food and tropical drinks were all so good and the variety of options was extensive! I was most impressed with how my wedding day was handled, Corina De Los Santos was my wedding planner and worked with me for a year to craft my dream wedding and she made our vision come to life so beautifully. I was so impressed with how she handled all the details and managed all my questions, concerns and dealt with my requested changes, she was extremely professional and accomodating and made me and my whole family feel very well taken care of. She was incredibly responsive and I absolutely loved working with her, I couldnt have imagined a more magical, perfect day having her taking care of every single detail for me (and 30 other family members). I was so happy with the quality of the food at the resort and the service, Programs and day and night activities. The drinking water and the resort was extremely clean, just amazing overall experience.

All in all it was a good place and staff were very friendly. We would stay here again no questions asked

Check-in staff and concierge desk staff made us feel like we were bothering them. Not helpful at all! Room service and dining service staff were mostly nice. Bathroom layout was horrifying!!! Sliding glass door leading into the room from the tub, having to step over a TALL ledge to get into it, then no shower curtain…allows the shower water to go EVERYWHERE!!! Had to use multiple towels just to keep from falling! Promised access to 3 resorts, get there and they are renovating one whole area and Many of the other restaurants, so only have access to a 3rd of what was promised. Will not ever use this resort again!
