My wife and I had pre-booked the Grand Vue Hotel for our honeymoon starting off in Hobart and it did not disappoint. The host was very welcoming, showing us to our room, the kitchen area and lounges. The whole place was very clean and tidy with some really nice relaxing and soothing music playing in the background. The location was in close proximity to the city, the waterfront, restaurants and cafe's, so walking around ( even though it was bloody cold haha) was great also. We would definitely recommend The Grand Vue for a nice relaxing location in Battery Point

It is the second time I have stayed at Grand Vue and it hasn't disappointed. The Hotel is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are exceptional. Ash is the perfect host along with his team of two. This time around we invited two members of our family to join us, and they were in agreement that the place is fabulous and plan to bring members of their family to visit as well in the future. There is nothing that is too much trouble. Battery Point is a lovely little village within walking distance to all the points of interest in the main town of Hobart. I am not keen on walking but found it easy walking. Do yourself a favour visit Grand Vue. It's a must

Stay here if you yearn for a bygone era of luxurious comfort. Every detail of this hotel is perfection! We enjoyed the best breakfasts here with fine company and delightful views of Sandy Bay. Simply the best place to stay.
