The location is very undesirable noise wise even after 10 pm. Seems to me that law enforcement could manage the loudness and the people milling around the outside of the property. I have stayed all around downtown Baton Rouge in other properties and have not found any to have this undesirable noise! Will not stay here in the future!

The shower didn't have hot water, was lukewarm at best. We tried to get breakfast at the bistro and waited a long time and ended up not ordering because the guy didn't know how to ring up our order

Ii couldn’t believe this was a Marriott hotel. The parking was poor. There was only hot and hotter water in the room. No cold water. When we asked at the front desk the really didn’t have an answer for why. The key card were very difficult to work and the place seemed run down.

Front desk woman was extremely rude, refused to give her name, her manager’s name, and actually gaslit me as the guest after she texted on her phone and refused to acknowledge me as I approached. I spoke and said excuse me, good morning (since obviously her conversation was most important). She then stared at me, which was odd, so I repeated myself in case she didn’t initially hear me after oddly staring - which led to her calling me rude and then defending her story to valet since she refused to give me my vehicle key. The room was fine but the tv didn’t turn off neither by the remote nor by the actual button on the tv. Also, there was no iron in the room but I had one delivered quickly. I do not recommend anyone from the Louisiana Society of Human Resources Management to stay at this property.

Everything was excellent. The people were extremely friendly. Probably the best hotel I have ever sayed at. The only complaint was all the kids partying in the streets at 2am. Wasnt able to get much sleep.
