I had an amazing stay! Mrs. Whitelaw is so sweet and always ready to help! The room was super clean and very nice for the price. There was a very nice complimentary breakfast as well with fruits, yogurts, various cereals, and more. She also has the sweetest dog and was so happy to see her! Also, felt totally safe as a solo female traveler and was a quick 20-30 min taxi ride to the Edinburgh airport.

I booked in for one night (on the night) at this excellent B&B. From near Edinburgh's International airport, I caught the bus (I think it was the "X18") , heading roughly west, along the Glasgow Road, for the 12 miles to this establishment. Parking available if required. A friendly welcome from my host at about 10pm. Shown to my twin single room upstairs, with Tv, shower, tea making facility, plus a top breakfast to follow....for £70. I'd a sound sleep and the best breakfast in a long time! Thank you "The Gables".

Last minute booking due to being let down by another hotel. Hosts were extremely helpful. Great location and parking available. Room was great and breakfast was fantastic - kept us going until tea time!

Stayed here for three nights as we were attending the Highland Show, the room was comfortable and clean , bed was really comfy nice plumped up pillows had good sleep, Breakfast was good but would have preferred a menu so that guests could pick whether they wanted a full cooked breakfast or not , although my requests were always granted. If we have one problem it was the price of the breakfast, my partner had booked a solo stay a year ago not knowing that I'd be joining him , he phoned a few nights before our arrival to let them know there would be two of us staying we were made aware that we would need to pay extra which was to be expected.However we had to pay £75 extra which works out at £25 per day for a breakfast for myself as surely the room price would not have changed despite being two of us , this just seems very expensive

I was welcomed and was shown around. It was all easy and friendly. My bike got a nice dry and safe place in the garage. The breaksfast was good. Everything went nice and smoothly.
