The first room I had was the studio. It was a sofa bed and the hotel did not advise me in advance when I booked the room over the phone. The second room I had looked great, but the shower dripped and didn't work. Unfortunately, I cannot post the video.

Hotel bien situé proche de la place Saint Nicolas et du boulevard Paoli. Accueil particulièrement aimable et souriant. Les chambres, très propres, sont confortables et au calme grâce à un double vitrage efficace. Prix correct vu l'endroit.

Séjour en centre ville
Mauvaise insonorisation entre les étages.

Reviews about this hotel seem to be either great or awfull, nothing in between! So, to start, no this is not a 5* hotel! Maybe 3/4*. However, to be fair the price is not 5* either. It is a nice hotel, luxurious in it's age no doubt (50 years ago?) but still pleasant and in a great location just 5 minutes walk to the old city. Certainly it is not in a slum as someone reported. Walking distance to the train and ferry. Our room was small and had no view but the shower was great. Staff were friendly and allowed us to store luggage for free.

Very pleasant stay!
The hotel is in a great location, boasts terrific service, and very clean! The rooms are small but functional. Do wish there was more space to layout toiletries for two people as we stayed 3 nights.

Rooms are spacious and beautiful and the bed fantasic! The hotel staff are all very friendly and professional. The hotel is located in the lovely centre of Bastia.
