Motel One Basel

The hotel is located in a very central location, only 20 minutes walk to the train station, and there is a tram at the door that takes four stops. There are many restaurants, shops and museums nearby. The room is of normal size, clean and good value for money.

Impossible more central. You walked out the door and you were already at the Christmas market (the other is in the cathedral about 300 meters away). The attention - reception and breakfast - exquisite. They make you feel at home: a ten. The comfortable and modern room. Breakfast a little expensive like Switzerland in general, but it is good and from 6 in the morning. To repeat if we return to Basel, without a doubt. Thank you.

Super hôtel, bon rapport qualité prix et très bien situé. À 5 min en tram de la gare et à 10 min du zoo. Au milieu de la zone shopping et idéalement situé en terme de transport. Personnel sympa, parlant également français et anglais. Design de l hôtel terres sympa. Chambre bien, simple et propre. Petit déjeuner sympa. Seul hic les tables et canapés du déjeuner ne sont pas très pratiques.

Situato in Barfusserplatz, centralissimo. Di fronte ci sono le fermate dei tram che vi porteranno ovunque. E l’hotel vi fornirà gratuitamente la Basel Card, inclusa nella tassa di soggiorno, che consente l’uso gratuito dei mezzi cittadini e riduzioni per gli ingressi ai musei. La nostra camera era ampia, arredata modernamente e affacciata sul retro. Avevamo chiesto una camera silenziosa e siamo stati accontentati. Dalle camere affacciate sulla piazza invece si vedono i mercatini natalizi. Bagno con doccia walk-in e phon in dotazione professionale e di altissima qualità. La sala colazione è sistemata nella grande hall, non è uno spazio separato. E’ perciò molto informale, moderna e giovanile. Si mangia ai tavolini sistemati accanto alle poltrone. Per chi preferisce un comfort più tradizionale c’è un ampio tavolo da condividere, con sedie classiche. Il buffet non è grande ma offre di tutto in poco spazio, ci sono anche le uova sode (decorate a mano!). Personale informale e simpatico, e molto efficiente.
