Sweden is beautiful! This is the second time I have stayed at this youth hostel. Because I checked in late, I called in advance to communicate with the guy at the front desk. He will put the key in the safe and give you a password.

Honestly the best hostel i’ve ever stayed at. Comfortable, clean, and overall just a great place to be!! Absolutely book this hostel if you’re coming to Basel I couldn’t recommend it more.

Breakfast is available if requested, but it is very easy to use the fully equipped kitchen which is mostly used quite well by the guests.
Access by lift is available.
The bunks are quite wide and comfortable and there is lockable storage space.
The site is very near to public transport which is
convenient.
In summer there are eateries and drinking places right next door. There are food shops nearby.
Toilets and showers are all good and kept clean.

The location is very good, 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the centre by tram. They give you a free transport card for the whole stay, including the return trip to the airport. The staff is very friendly and you can leave your luggage before and after check-in. The room (female 8) is spacious, with a plug near the bed and a locker with a key. It is not the same as the photos and it was not that clean. Good heating in winter. Nice and comfortable common areas. Shared bathrooms are cold. Beds are ok and pillows are soft.

Cool "hipster" location, all good, like one should expect from a hostel. Transit pass a valuable plus. Recommended.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great little bar/table area downstairs to relax in. I was surprised that I could choose a double bed in my female only dorm, that was a nice bonus. Not all beds were doubles though! Hostel is slightly out of town but easy to get to the tram and the Basel Card is fantastic as it gives you free public transport. Toilets are very clean and the showers look clean and also have locks which is great.

I paid for a queen single bed room but was given a family room with 4 bunk beds. I was struggling with power outlets to charge my phones because of not enough of them around my bed. Was way different than what was shown during booking. Had to checkout and walk to Basel SBB station early morning hours like around 5:30 to 6 but did not feel safe.

Die Unterkunft war sehr angenehm. Die Musik von der Disco um die Ecke bis nach 5 Uhr morgens war zu viel. um nicht zu sagen eine Zumutung.
